First up on my list of shooters from the Sizzlin’ Summer Shootout is Samuel Ross Samuel Ross 6'1" | SG Pendleton | 2027 State SC . Pendleton’s All-State guard had an excellent start to day two, knocking down a three on the first possession of the game and hitting three more before sitting out most of the second half. Ross is an excellent spot-up option offensively, but he’s also as scrappy as they come defensively. The Bulldogs were in a zone almost the entire game, but Samuel helped chip in on the glass and got on the floor for a couple of loose balls.

Samuel was a well-kept secret heading into his junior year at Pendleton High School, but now, being an All-State player, many are starting to take note of what he is and what he can be. Ross did a little bit of everything as a scorer this season, putting up just over 16 points per game on 42%/33%/83% shooting splits. If he follows up this big year with a solid AAU season, Samuel could soon begin to see looks from college coaches.
