<p>We are officially underway in the final week of the regular season. Typically, there isn't much to write about coming out of Monday evening. However, we had a sneaky good slate of 10 games and Prep Hoops Indiana had eyes and ears in gyms all across the state as always. Here is a closer look at four of the marquee games on the evening.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Brownstown Central Reaches 20 Wins</h2>

<p>Coach Dave Benter has been at Brownstown Central High School for 27 years now as the head basketball coach. In both 2004 and 2009 he reached the state finals, but it was until last season, led by his son Jack Benter, that the Braves cut down the nets at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Now, with Benter the player gone and off to Purdue, Brownstown Central has answered with a 20-1 season following Monday night's 54-36 victory over Floyd Central. Unsigned senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1296999' first='Chace' last='Coomer'] scored 18 points while connecting on five three-point shots while [player_tooltip player_id='2813503' first='Lane' last='Pendleton'] added four three-pointers of his own and 16 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2140414' first='Landon' last='Reed'] led Floyd Central with 18 points in the loss.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Evansville Memorial Gets a Big Second Half Lift to Beat Evansville Central</h2>

<p>This was a big matchup in terms of the Southern Indiana Conference standings. The Bears of Evansville Central had been in the driver's seat until a recent loss to Evansville North. Then, after Monday night's 49-46 loss to Evansville Memorial, Central has fall a game behind of both the Tigers and Evansville Reitz who are each 7-1 in the league. However, it didn't come easily for Memorial. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1539999' first='Luke' last='Ellspermann'] took control of the game in the second half finishing with 28 points to lead all scorers in the victory. They will finish SIAC play on Tuesday night with a trip to Evansville North. [player_tooltip player_id='1297082' first='Landyn' last='Richason'] scored 13 points to lead Evansville Central in the loss.</p>

<p>Coach Michael McBride has been around Norwell for awhile. Now, he has a group of sons that are leading the way on the court. On Monday evening, three McBride's combined for 38 points as Norwell defeated Concordia Lutheran 49-43. [player_tooltip player_id='2267057' first='Nick' last='McBride'] led with 14 points while [player_tooltip player_id='1296966' first='Adam' last='McBride'] added 12 points and [player_tooltip player_id='2617849' first='Josh' last='McBride'] finished with 12 points and 9 rebounds.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Fort Wayne North Side Lights Up the Scoreboard</h2>

<p>The Legends of Fort Wayne North Side poured in 91 points on Monday night in a 91-67 win over Fort Wayne Home School. They are now off until March 7th when they take on Northrop in Sectional 5. [player_tooltip player_id='2812811' first='Sebastian' last='Moore'] led the Legends with 26 points while shooting 4-8 from beyond the arc. Jordan Woods added a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id='2053671' first='Sean' last='Davenport'] chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.</p>
