[player_tooltip player_id='1982890' first='Colt' last='Fowler'] (Byrnes HS) - It's hard to find adjectives to describe the Sophomore Season [player_tooltip player_id='1982890' first='Colt' last='Fowler'] is having. After having a very impressive year in 2023-24 helping lead his team to a State Championship appearance in his first season, Fowler is arguably the most improved player in the state and is a serious candidate for Gatorade Player of the Year. His 19.1 Points Per Game and 11.6 Assist Per Game averages are staggering, even more so when you see the Rebels 22-0 record.

[player_tooltip player_id='1737994' first='Jaden' last='Johnson'] (Dorman HS) - Because of the season Fowler is having, you could argue [player_tooltip player_id='1737994' first='Jaden' last='Johnson'] is not getting the credit he deserves for his strong campaign. The Sophomore transferred from Southside HS to Dorman HS in the Summer and has fit into the Cavalier program seamlessly. Coach Thomas Ryan's team is 17-4 through February 1st and sits at #3 in the SCBCA 5A D1 Rankings. Jaden is a natural scorer and went over 1,000 career points earlier this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1669880' first='Bryce' last='Ward'] (Cathedral Academy) - Another young Guard who has been having an exceptional season is [player_tooltip player_id='1669880' first='Bryce' last='Ward']. Ward plays in the SCISA ranks for one of the lowcountry's best teams, Cathedral Academy. Bryce is their leading scorer at 20.1 Points Per Game which is also good for 15th in South Carolina and does so on an impressive 63% shooting. He is also capable of causing havoc on defense and creating buckets from his teammates as he is over 2.0 Steals Per Game and 3.0 Assists Per Game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1486211' first='Josh' last='Leonard'] (Wilson HS) - [player_tooltip player_id='1486211' first='Josh' last='Leonard'] is another All-State lock and potential Gatorade Player of the Year. The #1 Player in South Carolina's 2027 Class is currently 11th in the state at 21.9 Points Per Game and 17th in the state at 10.7 Rebounds Per Game. He too joined the 1,000 Point Club this season. Leonard is a gifted athlete and projects as one of the top prospects in the country. The Wilson Tigers are a well-built roster and with Josh leading the line they are a certain title contender in 4A.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679972' first='J'sean' last='Sanders'] (High Point Academy) - It seems that [player_tooltip player_id='1679972' first='J'sean' last='Sanders'] has taken a major step forward in his development this season. Sanders leads the 20-2 and #1 in 2A High Point Academy Grizzlies in Points Per Game at 16.1, Rebounds Per Game at 7.7, and Blocks Per Game at 2.0. He is a tough matchup for most schools in the class because of his combination of length and athleticism with still plenty more room for growth.
