Jeremiah came up with some key buckets down the stretch to help lead STMA to a comeback win over Chaska. More known for his mid-range jumper, Jeremiah was having a lot of his success going right at the rim to finish through contact. He showcased some impressive control elevating off of two feet, hanging in the air, and finishing in a variety of ways. Really active cutting off the ball and running off of screens looking to get into space. He finished with a game high 25 points in the win.

In a game that went down to the wire, Kevin helped lead his Eagan team to a tough win over Lakeville South. Now at about 6'8, Kevin continues to take big steps in his development. He showcased some impressive footwork out of the block, as well as the mobility to step in from the dunker spot, catch a bounce pass, and elevate to finish above the rim. Soft finishing touch to score over length. Defensively he did a great job of moving his feet to get into areas to contest around the basket, he fought for rebounds in traffic, and showed he can move his feet out on the perimeter when needed. Has always had the physical tools, and now the low-post skill seems to be catching up. Finished with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks in the win.

Alex had a monster performance on Friday night for Eagan. He's one of those players who just seems like he's jogging on the ball, but finds ways to get guys pinned on his shoulder before bursting to the hoop and finishing. Alex was always under control, even when driving through traffic, and it allowed him to finish just about every chance he had around the rim. That composure also allows him to run the point for Eagan at 6'5, as he does a great job of handling the ball under pressure against smaller/quicker guards. His ability to get into the lane also led to good chances for his teammates, as he forced the defense to collapse on him, and was able to find the open man to rack up 5 assists. Finished with 29 points and 13 rebounds as well in the win.

STMA has a lot of success when they're able to get Jack a low-post touch. His touch around the basket and size at 7' means you're pretty much forced to double him, but he sees the floor so well and is constantly creating for his teammates. Against Chaska he was kicking it out to his open shooters, while also finding teammates cutting to the rim off the ball. When left isolated on the block he was able to get to his left hand and finish against whatever size Chaska had on him. Showing improved coordination out of the pick & roll to catch and finish on the move.

Malachi has been one of the metro area's breakout players this season. Against Eagan he poured in 31 points, while also finding ways to dish out a handful of assists. He's so shifty on the ball, and is able to blow by defenders to the rim, and once there he did a nice job of finishing over the Eagan size with floaters. There are times when Malachi tries to do too much, and it can lead to some turnovers, but that same aggressiveness is also what allows him to produce at a high level, whether he's scoring on his own or finding an open teammate.

Tray's ability to stretch the floor at 6'7 was a big reason why Chaska led for most of the game against STMA. Against a 7 footer, his team wasn't having a lot of success inside, but Tray was finding ways to get into space out on the perimeter, and get his shots off before the closeout could get to him. Mixed in some crafty finishes inside as well, as he has the ability to put the ball on the floor and play off two feet around the rim. He scored a team high 21 points in the loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447719' first='Wesley' last='Hoke'] has been another key player this season for Eagan. At 6'3, he's an athletic slasher out on the wing who can also defend a number of spots. He starts off the game defending on the perimeter, but based on the rotation can also battle against forwards when Eagan goes with a smaller lineup. Had one of his better shooting games of the season as he hit three 3's against Lakeville South, while also showing that quick burst to get to the rim and finish with some explosiveness.
