<p>Thursday Albany beat St. Cloud Cathedral by 24, 86-62 and the next Friday they beat Holdingford by 22 points, 81-59. Led by 2025 Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1575328' first='Ezekial' last='Austin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1286547' first='Sam' last='Hondl'] the pair is ready to redeem themselves after finishing 3rd at state last year. Tuesday they have a game at Little Falls and Friday at home with Milaca. </p>

<p>Former 2A State champ Waseca is back having a dominant season and again led by a pair of brothers. Before it was the Willingham's and now it is the Russell's, [player_tooltip player_id='2121332' first='Deron' last='Russell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2103355' first='Damarius' last='Russell']. Waseca had a rare week off from games during the week last week so nothing to catch up on. They will face Le Sueur-Henderson Thursday and travel to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Friday night to close the season. [player_tooltip player_id='2104457' first='Carson' last='Ohnstad'] broke 1,000 career points a couple weeks ago as well.</p>

<p>Caledonia finished their season last Tuesday the 18th versus Winona Cotter with a 66-48 victory. The Warriors hadn't lost since January 11th versus #9 ranked 3A Stewartville and have won 13 straight since. Their only other loss came to out-of-state Onalaska. 4 Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1575326' first='Mason' last='King'], [player_tooltip player_id='2103343' first='Garrett' last='Konz'] [player_tooltip player_id='1575325' first='Ethan' last='Stendel'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1575329' first='Reid' last='Klug'] make up their bunch leading the charge. Also look for freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2387331' first='Grant' last='King'] who's scoring 9.7 points per game. </p>

<p>2025 seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1584900' first='Gage' last='Braiedy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1535036' first='Noah' last='Oberfeld'] have led Mora to a nearly perfect record, their only loss coming to 20-6 Warroad. Last week Mora beat Little Falls 84-54 on Thursday and followed the next day with a 84-58 win versus East Central. Mora will close the season Tuesday at Foley and then Thursday home versus 17-6 Spectrum.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1574225' first='Miles' last='Newton'] and the Breck Mustangs are looking to repeat in 2A. In February they lost to St. Louis Park and Edina, 4A schools. They've won 5 straight since their February 4th loss to Edina including a 66-51 victory over Blake Friday, and beat Holy Family 66-62 Wednesday. Blake will travel Tuesday to play Mankato East, #1 ranked 3A team in Minnesota and 4A Minneapolis Washburn Friday. Of Breck's losses this season all of them have been to teams a class or two higher.</p>

<p>JCC got [player_tooltip player_id='1601069' first='Roman' last='Voss'] back for the stretch run beginning in February and that will be huge for Jackson County along with [player_tooltip player_id='1560751' first='Weston' last='Rowe']. JCC played the month of February 5-2 with 2 wins to finish their season last week beating St. James 91-78 and Pipestone Area 76-73 Friday. They like Cannon Falls will have almost 2 weeks off from games before Sections.</p>

<p>Blake has been rolling behind [player_tooltip player_id='1585946' first='Omar' last='Kaba'], [player_tooltip player_id='2118459' first='Carson' last='McMichael'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1586877' first='Ian' last='Schnabel'] for most of the year. They beat Mound Westonka last Wednesday 70-66 but have lost 2 of their last 3 including Friday February 21st to #5 Breck 66-51. Blake will look to finish strong with 3 games this week. They played Monday at Minneapolis Camden and won 85-77. Wednesday they play at Southwest Christian, and home Friday versus Maranatha finish their season.</p>

<p>The Bombers have lost 3 of their last 4. They finished up their season on Friday night with a loss to 3A #9 Stewartville and lost to Lake City Tuesday 73-64. A week prior they fell to #3 Caledonia 82-48. 2025 Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1874846' first='Gavin' last='Johnson'] and the rest of the Bombers will have almost two weeks to get ready for Sections. </p>

<p>Montevideo has one game left with Melrose Monday night. and Montevideo took care of business winning 76-52. They rebounded after two losses last week to 22-3 Dawson-Boyd and 16-8 West Central Area. Montevideo won 12 of their first 13 games to begin the year and sit at the top of their conference at 11-2.</p>

<p>SCL hasn't lost a game since December 21st versus Blake 74-67, that's 16 straight. Last week they beat St. Croix Prep and 12-12 St. Agnes. [player_tooltip player_id='2445213' first='Riccardo' last='Marzetti'], a six-foot-five-inch senior, is averaging 21.6 points per game for SCL. </p>
