Henry really excelled at scoring in the paint on Sunday. He showed the ability to grab rebounds on both sides of the court. Henry was great at receiving the ball on the wing and getting to the basket. On a number of occasions, he was able to score or draw fouls against the opposition. Henry calmly stepped to the line and knocked them down. Where I saw Henry really shine, was on the offensive glass. I'm certain, he lead the team in rebounding. Most of those offensive boards lead to easy put-backs by him or second chance points for his teammates. Defensively, Henry was able to block a few shots, protect the paint and defend players on the perimeter. Keep working Henry!!

This guy was the best rebounder on the floor Sunday afternoon. Treshaun excelled at doing all the intangibles, such as blocking shots, rebounding and defending. His energetic activity was displayed for all to see on Sunday. Treshaun was practically a part of every play on the court. He attacked the offensive glass with decisiveness. In his fight for rebounds, he was great at boxing out his opponents. Treshaun literally grabbed every board he got his hands on. Many of those rebounds lead to him scoring easy put-backs under the basket. Treshaun showed off his athleticism with a couple of blocked shots while guarding on the wing. Scoring in the paint wasn't an easy task for the Go Time 8th players. Whenever the guards attempted to drive into the paint, Treshaun always found a way to change their shots. Keep defending Treshaun!!

This young man is a walking bucket! This is my second write up for Sonjai. The first time I watched him play was during AAU season this past summer. He could score then, but now he's enhanced his skills even more. Sonjai scored from every where on the court as compared to last summer. Everything was inside in regard to scoring. Now, Sonjai handles the ball, slashes to the basket, scores in the post and knocks down threes. He was the focal point of the Faith and Discipline offense. He's the team big man but plays like a guard/forward. Sonjai easily beat defenders off the dribble and scored at the rim. Many of those drives lead to three-point play opportunities from the free-throw line after being fouled. He nailed multiple three-pointers despite being closely guarded by Go Time 8th defenders. On defense, Sonjai had a couple of steals and blocked shots. In my opinion, this young man should have no issues transitioning to the high school level. He finished the game with ( 28 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks) Keep it up Sonjai!!

I really enjoyed watching Kai play basketball. He makes it look so easy on the court! Kai is one of those players who has a smooth play-style on the court. This is my second write up for Kai. He continues to grow as a player, both physically and mentally. He easily breaks down the defense and gets to the basket. During Sunday's game Kai was unstoppable while attacking the paint. No matter which opposing players guarded him; there were no answers. If Kai wanted to knock down jump-shots, he did. Attacking the paint and scoring, no problem. Grabbing rebounds and being a facilitator, all good. Defensively, Kai uses his length to his advantage. He forced numerous turnovers with great on-ball defense and timing the pass lanes. As I said in his last write up, I believe Kai has a very bright future ahead of him. He finished the game with (18 points, 3 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block.) Keep balling Kai!!

Brian is a great all-around player who has the ability to catch and shoot effectively. He showed the necessary skills needed to score in various ways throughout the game. Brian excelled at taking the ball strong to the basket. Whether it was scoring in transition or stepping out and nailing perimeter shots, Brian made it happen offensively. He also showed off a nice shooting touch from the three point line. Brian's a good rebounding guard, who attacked the glass just as hard as he attempted to score the ball. He's a steady defender who closely guarded his man on the defensive end of the court. Brian was able to force multiple turnovers with great on-ball pressure. After watching him play, I saw a player with a good all-around feel of the game.

Aison is a tough power forward who played with aggression on both ends of the court. He's a very physical player who excelled in the paint. On numerous occasions, was able to score tough baskets despite being contacted by the opposition. This is why Aison's a strong player in the post. He can absorb contact and finish around the basket regardless. I'm certain he lead his team in rebounding Sunday afternoon. I really appreciated how Aison treated grabbing rebounds and defense as a priority. It really wasn't just about scoring for him. If this young man develops a consistent jump-shot, he could be a dangerous threat for opposing coaches. Defensively, Aison was able to block shots and protect the paint. Keep working Aison!!
