Our final article from the 2027 rankings update sees us profile the last six prospects that were added to our rankings. As we continue to evaluate more high school games and especially 16 U grassroots basketball, this list will continue to expand and grow. With that being said here are six names that made their debut in our rankings this week!

The flashes with Chenault are very intriguing as he makes wow plays that few prospects in the class of 2027 can match. The way he moves at his size with the fluidity and speed is impressive and he's taken steps as a finisher at the rim. Also capable of going coast to coast after securing defensive rebounds or steals, Chenault is best in the open court right now. A prospect I need to see more of, I've seen Chenault play less than almost every other ranked prospect. Excited to continue to watch Chenault grow and get a better evaluation of his game.

A prospect I found in July during the live period, Curtis has the size and length to be an impact player in the paint at both ends of the court. Curtis is playing behind some talented bigs at Middletown but during the summer and at the Prep Hoops Sophomore ID camp, he showed impressive flashes against his players his own age. I expect next season to be the breakout year for Curtis with the Middies if he continues to work and develop during the off-season. You can't teach his size, length and movement skills.

A young Saint Edward team has taken some bumps early in the season but with pieces like Murray in the system, I expect the Eagles to continue to improve this season and get back near the top of northeast Ohio next year. I was impressed with the skill and IQ Murray showed me during the summer as he's able to move without the basketball and finish at the rim. Murray also has a frame that should be able to add muscle as he continues to mature and fill out. I expect Murray to be a well-known name across northeast Ohio by the time his Junior season rolls around.

One of the top players in southeast Ohio, I just did a profile on what I saw from Kazee over the weekend. Click here to view that article. Kazee and the Panthers have a huge contest against rival Fairland tonight, southeast Ohio will be locked in to that one.

I love the style of play Harrison brings to the table from the point guard position. A leader for both Lutheran East and Phenom United when I watched him at the 15 U level over the summer, Harrison sets the tone on both ends for his team. An elite defensive point guard who can also set up teammates and make shots, Harrison does the necessary things to get noticed as a sub 6'0 guard. I'll be curious to see how he continues to evolve his game as he continues to go up against bigger and stronger opposition. A true heart over height type player, fans who like old school point guards will enjoy watching Harrison play.

Another Sophomore ID camp standout, Haney is a standout for a historic Steubenville program that went over 1,500 program wins this season. Haney got to run the show as a freshman, scoring almost 20 PPG. He's continuing to put up impressive scoring numbers as a Sophomore but the addition of [player_tooltip player_id='1408521' first='Aiden' last='Davis'] plus the growth of Will Bowers and Cole Taylor allow the Big Red to have more options than they had last season. We'll be continuing to monitor Haney's development as he attempts to lead Steubenville to district and regional titles.
