What Class AAAA teams are on a roll? What teams have hit a struggle? We give you both today!

Three Up

Buffalo (7-3). The Bison have won five games in a row after starting the year 2-3. Wins over Brainerd, Bemidji, Annandale, Sartell and Elk River have them playing better heading into Lake Conference play plus games with Andover and Sauk Rapids-Rice. Buffalo is a balanced team that has six guys averaging between 7.5 and 10 points per game plus senior [player_tooltip player_id='2423572' first='Jordy' last='Sorenson'] is scoring 12.5 points per game leading the way.

Eden Prairie (5-4). The Eagles lost four of their first five games to start the year and we all pretty much wrote them off. Since then they have won four games in a row beating Armstrong, Eastview, East Ridge and Chanhassen. Hopkins, Wayzata, STMA and Tonka are coming up quick so EP is hitting a stride at the right time. The Eagles are a top ten scoring team in the state right now with [player_tooltip player_id='1574221' first='Max' last='Lorenson'] averaging 24.5 points [player_tooltip player_id='1560851' first='Hamze' last='Yusuf'] scoring 18.5 a contest.

Spring Lake Park (8-3). With their second win of the season over Andover and a win over Stillwater, the Panthers are now 8-3 on a four game winning streak. This is one of the best developing backcourts in the state with juniors [player_tooltip player_id='1560865' first='Nolan' last='Myren'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1560768' first='Colin' last='Welch'] leading the way and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2126461' first='Cal' last='Spencer'] being the third leading scorer. The trio is scoring 44 points a game heading into a big game with Anoka tonight.

Three Down

Chanhassen (3-6). Chan was 3-2 to start the year including a win over Buffalo but they've lost four games in a row and it looks like they've been without [player_tooltip player_id='1760312' first='Riley' last='Johnson'] - scoring 28+ a game - as he hasn't been in the box scores. With a game against rival Chaska tomorrow they hope to get back on track and the talent is there with Johnson, [player_tooltip player_id='1617724' first='John' last='Schmidt'] and Bennett Barger. They are giving up 75 points a game which is a top five highest total in AAAA in points given up.

Waconia (3-7). Speaking of giving up points, Waconia is giving up a Class AAAA high 79 points per contest so far this season. Context is needed though as their last three games have been against top five teams (Hopkins, CDH and Prior Lake). [player_tooltip player_id='1560741' first='Will' last='Kirsch'] is scoring 24 points a game for the Cats with Soren Maker averaging just under ten.

Roseville (3-7). The Raiders are a team I listed as a surprise not too long ago but since then they have lost six of seven games. The schedule got tougher with losses to three ranked teams plus a two score loss to local rival Mounds View. The games coming up give the Raiders a chance to bounce back as they are winnable conference games but at the same time these teams have talent too. [player_tooltip player_id='1617787' first='Noah' last='George'] is scoring 13 points a game and sophomore Micah Wiscus has been a name to know.
