Shakopee

[player_tooltip player_id='1436821' first='Eli' last='Schroeder'] (Sr). I thought Eli looked a bit stronger and I was really impressed how he applied himself in a lot of areas. He is known as a shooter but he rebounded, passed the ball very well, and found ways to score inside the arc. A dozen points, four boards, and six assists. A lot of quality passes helping guys score near the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126468' first='Blake' last='Betton'] (Soph). I don't think people realize how tough it is, and how rare it is that sophomores get really big roles at this highest level of play. And Betton used his strong guard/wing frame for seven points and six boards. Good contributions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1575347' first='Luke' last='Wherley'] (Sr). I thought Wherley looked like a different level of skilled athlete than everybody else that was on the floor. He had a quick seven points with a three and two nice scores on the move lifting about the help. Luke had 20 on only 11 shots with eight boards. I think Jamestown got a nice piece here. A guy that knows how to produce without needing to "get his" shot number.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574229' first='Devin' last='Pass'] (Sr). Pass is a big shot maker. He hit five threes and it felt like his two runs making those threes came at very important times. Had 17 points for the game. Shakopee getting three from Pass just stretched Prior Lake too think.

[player_tooltip player_id='2405212' first='Tommy' last='Auge'] (Sr). Tommy's three blocks and his shot contests were very important. When you consider that the three Prior Lake bigs combined to shoot 6 of 14, that was important to this win. Between Auge and Wherley, they did a good job of limiting those frontcourt guys.

[player_tooltip player_id='1575342' first='Isaac' last='Cordes'] (Sr). I thought Cordes was outstanding. He's the guy that can score, and he had 22 tonight with four threes but only needed a dozen shots to do it, but he also had six assists continuing to put the ball in the right spot consistently. I think he is such an underrated point guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417389' first='Jake' last='Courts'] (Soph). At 6'5, skilled, hit a three tonight and some foul shots, I think he is going to be a very good player and prospect.

Prior Lake

Kobby Sam-Brew (Soph). A decent night for Kobby. They put him at the foul line all night and he made 8 of 10 of the attempts. At about 6'6, 6'7 he contested, and grabbed six boards. Decent game for Kobby.

[player_tooltip player_id='2422072' first='Alex' last='Hulskotter'] (Sr). I loved his active contributions. He did everything with work and hustle and that element is so important to a team. Five times scoring at the rim, three assists and three boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2635710' first='Colten' last='Gunderson'] (Jr). At 6'7 and a junior, Gunderson surprised me. He's scoring nine a night and I liked how he was front in center in contact with whomever came at him. Nose to nose battling, good balance, good pivot usage, I liked what I saw potential wise. He had a 12 point, nine rebound game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1434127' first='Norbu' last='Jenpa'] (Sr). The thing that grabbed me the most was everything about the three point shooting. The form looked good, good shots were taken, form looked good and he made four of them. A game high 25 points with six boards.
