Cowns scored 19 points, went over 1000 points for her career and perhaps most importantly helped McLoud to the tournament title with a win over Chandler. The senior has always been a bouncy athlete, dangerous off the dribble and a strong defender. On Saturday night, he showed the strides he's made as a ballhandler and shooter. Looked more confident handling the ball pressure Chandler applied. And the McLoud offense seemed designed to get him mismatches on opposing forwards. If they sagged off he hit the open jumper, or he blew by to attack the rim. Has made clear progress as a complete scorer. Saturday night looked to be good momentum for him and McLoud as they ramp up for the Class 4A playoff gauntlet.

Talley appears to be playing some of the best ball of any player in Class 6A. He earned Tournament MVP honors for his Tigers that went 3-0 on the weekend. Will log big minutes competing against taller post players on the block. He'll also be at the top of a press/trapping on the perimeter. His defensive versatility is critical for one of Oklahoma's elite teams.

Offensively he's a springy rim runner, who is a lob threat or explosive finisher in transition. While also capable of hitting enough jumpers that he must be respected. Which then drags opposing bigs out of position. Fun, high motor prospect, who appears to be just scratching the surface of his potential regarding the next level.

Two way impact player, with a true DAWG mentality on the defensive end. Quick and strong, thrives applying ball pressure. While also sticking to his man to deny off the ball. Seems to be a prideful student of the game on the defensive end.

Athletic and with good body control as a finisher around the rim. His jumper looks improved, with good form and reliability from long distance. A good sign regarding his long term potential to play at the next level. Small town star, who's gritty mentality would translate to any level of high school basketball in Oklahoma.

For El Reno to climb the mountain top in 5A, it appears Reed will need to be the consistent scoring threat to make it a three headed monster for the Indians. Had a strong scoring burst in the second half when they briefly went down double digit. He's a well drilled and skilled driver, who leverages his handles and strength to create openings in the mid-range and with floaters. Must be respected from the perimeter as well. Match ups like BA bring out how important his scoring will be to compliment Davis and Roman Nose. And could set the stage for a very strong close to his senior year.

Dow continues to provide a bench boost that most teams in Oklahoma can't compete with. Does a very good job for a player of his size when it comes to moving his feet and covering smaller guards. While also having the developing explosiveness to be a factor around the rim. Picked up all tournament honors for Broken Arrow, speaking volumes of the important role he'll play in the Tigers' hunt for the Gold Ball.

Intriguing prospect with his size, athleticism and three point shooting ability. On Saturday night, made his impact in bursts and not consistently. Would have stretches where he knocked down open jumpers, and that would energize him to lock in defensively with blocks and covering guards. His lateral quickness is where he must continue to improve to be a better perimeter defender and have more wiggle with the ball in his hands. Has obvious college level traits that will land him a next level opportunity. Where with proper development and determination he should turn into a difference making "3 and D" style player.
