Brother Jaydan started the game sharp, hitting a right wing 3-pointer that stretched the initial first quarter lead to seven as Chandler jumped out early. With the defense tightening up from the Ironheads, Jordan went to work. The junior finished off a third quarter and-one to cut the lead to one at 29-28. Denson again was on the attack, driving and spinning over his right shoulder before finishing over an outstretched arm in the final quarter. Jordan got ahead of the defense from there and tied the game at 38-38 with another and-one finish. His ability to finish through contact time and time again showed his strength and determination in trying to will his team to victory.

A dogged defender with quality athleticism, Denson is aiming to make the jump as a junior from good to great. Played with his usual purpose on the defensive end and as a strong driver. Impressively, his handles looked tighter and he shot it better off the dribble. Really starting to become a showtime player in transition. Athleticism and defense will get his foot in the door at the next level. Now it’s about fine tuning his perimeter shooing and continuing to be an unselfish player, with improved creation skills. Which are also key strides he needs to make as a leader for a Chandler team aiming for another Class 3A State Tournament appearance.

A prideful and bulldog like defender. Have seen Denson lock up top opponents on a national level. Understands leverage and angles to compliment his athleticism and natural strength. Works just as hard off the ball to stick to his man as he does when locking up on the ball. Small town guard with big time defensive game.

Two way impact player, with a true DAWG mentality on the defensive end. Quick and strong, thrives applying ball pressure. While also sticking to his man to deny off the ball. Seems to be a prideful student of the game on the defensive end.
Athletic and with good body control as a finisher around the rim. His jumper looks improved, with good form and reliability from long distance. A good sign regarding his long term potential to play at the next level. Small town star, who’s gritty mentality would translate to any level of high school basketball in Oklahoma.

impressed at The Expo with his physicality and athleticism as he pushed the pace consistently. He did a great job of attacking the rim in transition as well as half-court sets. Excelling as both a vertical and lateral athlete, Denson created havoc for opponents and seemed overwhelming at times. He also was able to knock down threes in 5v5 play which made him even more dangerous on that end of the court. He came away with a number of steals which led to many fast break opportunities that he was able to finish with strength – including big dunks.

The small town standout is already making waves with his ability to put the opposition on notice with his highlight reel transition finishes. He thrives in causing havoc, with his combination of strength and explosiveness that is not often found in the small school ranks that Chandler plays in. Along with his brother Jayden, the Denson twins will likely give a lot of highlight reel performances to their small town as they battle for a trip to the Big House.
