Capitol Hoops Challenge Day 1 Standouts

South Lakes was by far the most anticipated matchup of not only the day but of the year. It featured two Michigan state Commits, Cam Ward and [player_tooltip player_id='1410534' first='Jordan' last='Scott'], and this game did not disappoint. Cam Ward got the better of this matchup today and was great from start to finish. Cam dominated the glass on offense and had some great plays down the stretch to give Largo a 1 point win. Cam did a great job getting to the rim and finished a few and 1s. Alec is a great defender, and he has fantastic hands to force steals. He does a good job not letting the ball stick to his hands for too long, and he is a very good athlete. He attacks the rim well and does well cutting without the ball. St. John's did a pretty good job against Nate overall, but he still showed flashes of why he's one of the best players in the country.
