In this article we look at Class 4A Section 6 teams, their record, QRF rank and the prospects on their respective teams.

Moorhead 13-4 (7)

[player_tooltip player_id='2451500' first='David' last='Mack'] is a six-foot guard for the Studs averaging 16.7 points per game as a 2027 sophomore. Watching Mack this summer playing for PJ Hoops/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] Hoops a bit he was very comfortable on the ball or off. On the ball he was fantastic using ball screens like a seasoned NBA guard. Off the ball he was ready to shoot immediately off the catch on the wing. Strong guard who scored 18 TDs this Fall on the gridiron as a wide receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='2423573' first='Reign' last='Battle'] is a 2025 six-foot-one-inch guard with six-foot-five-inch wingspan who's committed to play football at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Battle is a good athlete with good strength which makes him a different guard on the perimeter. He's averaging 18.5 points per game for the Spuds.

Brian Zarazua Jr is a 2025 six-foot-three-inch point guard that is averaging 17.7 points per game for the Spuds. Zarazua size helps a lot on the perimeter and at the rim versus smaller guards getting deflections and steals like in a game versus Jamestown he had 6 steals to go with his 19 points and 9 assists. Shows good passing instincts and can make shots from the perimeter and does well running off screens.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417305' first='Romeo' last='Kromah'] is a 2028 six-foot-one-inch freshman for the Spuds averaging 6.2 points per game. I got to witness Kromah last summer on the Prep Hoops Next circuit a few times playing for ECI. Very good athlete, especially for his age. Leaping ability above the rim attempting to block shots. That athleticism has enabled him to be a pest on the defensive side of the ball. He's shown good ability as a ball handler, and certainly able to finish in transition.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O80HNj6YhWI

St. Michael-Albertville (STMA) 11-6 (10)

STMA is led by two 2025 senior guards, [player_tooltip player_id='1428994' first='Hudson' last='Hochstedler'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1586882' first='Jeremiah' last='Johnson']. They are averaging 15.4 and 15.9 points respectively. You can read about them here by me earlier this Winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126108' first='Jack' last='Thelen'] is a near 7-foot tall 2027 sophomore who's scoring 14.2 points per game. Thelen has made great improvements to his overall game since July when I saw him a few times with the [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 3SSB 2027 team. Thelen uses his feet and length fantastically on defense, taking up a lot of space and having good positioning. Offensively he keeps the ball high even when catching on the perimeter and has good passing vision and ability to see teammates open across the court.

https://twitter.com/FreshCoastHoops/status/1881011380813443084?t=ue-ygEBvwhz5vhseN26A6Q&s=19

[player_tooltip player_id='2103351' first='Jordan' last='Holm'] is a six-foot-six-inch 2025 wing for the Knights who's averaging 10.2 points per game. Holm is a good floor space that shoots the ball very well from the perimeter.

Sauk Rapids-Rice (SRR) 14-4 (14)

SRR is led by three 2025 seniors, [player_tooltip player_id='1579917' first='Keller' last='Hanson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1617798' first='Spencer' last='Swenson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1579918' first='Hudson' last='Omoke']. They are averaging 21.1, 21.5 and 9.2 points per game. You can read about them in my Trio's article from earlier this month.

[player_tooltip player_id='2575638' first='Izayah' last='Cook'] is a 2027 six-foot-four-inch wing who's scoring 16.3 points per game for The Storm. Cook has the ability off the dribble in creation situations to knock down shots. Size and length make him a match-up problem for many other teams since he is agile and has good body dexterity.

2028: [player_tooltip player_id='2833317' first='Ty' last='Rudolph']

Buffalo 9-6 (21)

[player_tooltip player_id='2423572' first='Jordy' last='Sorenson'] is a 2025 five-foot-ten-inch guard leading the Bison in scoring at 13 points per game. Sorenson is a good outside shooter and he showed versus Edina recently when he knocked down 5 triples and scored 22 points. During the summer Sorenson showed he can attack the rim hard and finish at times.

https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1798387741161566488?t=EL8-GaZJmRcE1aQTeO2Qxg&s=19

[player_tooltip player_id='2770748' first='Cooper' last='Cebulla'] is a six-foot-three-inch 2025 guard who's scoring 10.8 points per game. Cebulla is a solid outside shooter who's good at spotting up. He really helps the Bison spread the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2397563' first='Thomas' last='Jordan'] is a six-foot-three-inch 2028 Freshman who's averaging 8.6 point per game, 3rd most on the team. Two summers ago playing up with [program_tooltip program_id='2123709' first='MN' last='Rush'] for a weekend Jordan looked ready to compete already with 14U and then last summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] showed he was certainly one of the better 2028 players. Size makes Jordan able to compete with bigger players on defense and punishes them on offense with his ball handling and shooting abilities.

Bemidji 10-3 (27)

[player_tooltip player_id='1560797' first='Jaxon' last='Boschee'] 2026 guard is averaging 29.2 points per game making 57/142 (40.1%) 3-pointers through 12 record games. Read about Boschee's game here.

[player_tooltip player_id='2175436' first='Austin' last='Riewer'] is a 2026 forward averaging 15 points per game through 8 recorded games. Riewer recently helped seal the victory over Sartell with a game tying 3-pointer to send the game to OT and then making a lay-up in overtime. Riewer has good size at six-foot-six-inches and fits well as a stretch four. Solid athlete, runs the floor well, and fits the stretch as a solid outside shooter.

Rogers 7-11 (42)

[player_tooltip player_id='2422928' first='Trey' last='Mix'] is a six-foot-two-inch 2025 guard who's averaging 13.9 points per game for the Rogers Royals. Mix is mostly a floor splasher who's a pretty good athlete, good lead ball handler and versus Elk River Tuesday showed he can make outside shots. Mix found himself a few times getting matched up inside versus bigger players and held up well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2770743' first='Dylan' last='Bachmeier'] is a six-foot guard who's averaging 13.8 points per game for the Royals. Bachmeier has done well shooting from the perimeter in the 3 guard set-up helping spread out defenses and getting open shots.

Grant Kuhlman is a 2025 guard who's scoring 11.4 points per game. Versus Elk River Tuesday Kuhlman went for a season high 22 points and his outside shot and driving to the basket really helped the Royals to victory.

Potential 2027 Prospects Sam McAlpine, [player_tooltip player_id='2140717' first='Xyarien' last='Jackson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2380522' first='JT' last='Lutgen'], [player_tooltip player_id='2382202' first='Owen' last='Ahlbrecht']

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDTnR32OETg

Brainerd 8-9 (41)

[player_tooltip player_id='1559916' first='Korde' last='Roseman'] is a 2025 senior averaging 17.4 points per game (39% 3-point shooter). Read my review of him here.

[player_tooltip player_id='2115642' first='Eli' last='Tautges'] is a five-foot-ten-inch guard that is averaging 14 points per game. Tautges is shooting an outstanding 44.8% on 3-pointers this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2104474' first='Garrett' last='Gilbert'] is a six-foot-six-inch 2025 senior forward averaging 9.6 points per game and 10 rebounds. Gilbert is a good hustle big man and can occasionally give his team more on the points side like versus Rocori when he had 21 points. Read more about Gilbert here.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560789' first='Grant' last='Johnson'] is a six-foot-five-inch 2026 six-foot-five-inch wing scoring 7.4 points per game. Johnson moves well enough, he'll probably need to be a stretch four at the next level. He can shoot it from the perimeter a bit, but needs to show more consistency as he's shooting 32% so far this season. Johnson handles the ball well enough to bring it up the court and moves the basketball as a passer.

Prospects of Future: [player_tooltip player_id='2833323' first='Luke' last='Merseth'] (2028 starting games on Varsity), Brady Oseland, Dewayne Sims 2028 guards playing JV.

https://youtu.be/yVUPt-d53n4?si=S2fDLaIzEskXn89n

Sartell 7-8 (50)

[player_tooltip player_id='1560795' first='Maddox' last='Lewis'] is a six-foot-five-inch 2026 forward that is averaging 15 points per game with 7 games recorded for the Sabres. Lewis is an excellent perimeter shooter that appears to be speedier this season from last summer. He also has a high basketball IQ that gives him an advantage on his opponents. Lewis has a good eye for passing, nothing flashy, at times won't make a highlight tape but he will make the extra pass and necessary passes for your team to succeed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2119640' first='Bennett' last='Bommersbach'] is a five-foot-eleven-inch guard that is averaging almost 8 points per game. Bommersbach is a secondary ball handler that I've watched play for the Minnesota Comets for three springs and summers. Bommersbach makes the right play possession after possession, very consistent. He seems to be improving his shot.

Elk River 3-11 (57)

[player_tooltip player_id='1560831' first='Levi' last='Harris'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1560841' first='Dominic' last='Webster'] are the Elks leaders. They are both 2026 juniors averaging 15.8 and 10.6 points per game.

https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1878170119609766181

https://twitter.com/streethistory/status/1868652003293020428

2027 Potential playing Varsity: [player_tooltip player_id='2447459' first='David' last='Balisidya']
