-Came away impressed with Pińeda's skillset as a G/W prospect that can really fill up the stat sheet for a pretty loaded North County team. He can knock down open jumpers, play on the ball or on the wings in transition, rebounds the basketball well, can guard multiple positions, and plays unselfishly without coming off the floor very often. Love how he can shift between different responsibilities in North County's offensive and defensive systems.

-A guard that popped onto our radar in the preseason, he's served as an effective connector on the wings that can also score by getting to the basket and hitting shots off the dribble. He's got solid length, good speed, and understands when he needs to push the envelope in transition and when the ball needs to come back up top to set off the offense in the secondary break. His nose for the basketball has allowed him to carve out a pretty consistent role in Good Counsel's rotation.

-Shooting is at a premium in today's game and Long's range stretches a few feet beyond the three point line. A fast guard in the open court that can finish at the rim or hit the pull-up jumper from the midrange, Long has morphed into a shooter that comes flying off of different actions for Mt. Zion National to space the floor for the Warriors. As he grows comfortable in his new surroundings I want to see Long be more assertive attacking closeouts and getting to the middle of the defense to create for teammates as the defense rotates on him more aggressively after a few shots fall through the net.

-Beal has been up and down in spots for Good Counsel this season but has a nice blend of skills and great positional size to be a prospect for college coaches to track in 2026 if he can develop more consistency game-to-game. A good athlete that is learning to attack the rack more assertively when he catches in the high post or on the perimeter, he usually can get something going to the basket or draw a foul to put pressure on the defense. Want to see louder communication and more consistent intensity from him on the defensive side of the ball as one of the taller wings on the roster because he can really make an impact as a switchable wing that can cover for his guards on blow-by's to the rim. Really intriguing prospect with some upside.

-Tche-Tafon popped in an event early in the season as a sturdy W/F prospect that attacks the glass, can score in the paint, and plays with a ton of energy defensively for AACS. He does a great job looking opposite for passing options instead of forcing up a bad shot if he comes up with a rebound and is surrounded in the paint. Love the touch apparent on his ability to use the glass from different angles on the floor to bank shots in from the side or in front of the rim.

-First season in the area in new threads with Carroll and he always finds a way to provide a steady ball-handling presence off the bench. Jobin sees the floor well and protects the rock while waiting for plays to develop in the halfcourt. Haven't seen him shoot it a ton from the perimeter but the fluidity and consistency of his follow-through on practice reps and FTs indicate that isn't an area of weakness. Like the IQ at the defensive end of the floor to stay solid defensively, not gambling to put himself out of position to stay home for steals and good contests.

-Loved the unselfish, team-first leadership seen from Williams in his pockets of opportunity for extended minutes this season. A vocal leader that cares about the little details at both ends of the floor, he switches ends quickly as soon as his team gets the rebound to race it in transition to try to get a quick score. Rebounds the basketball exceptionally well for his size, sees the floor well as a sharp passer with either hand, and defends with a ton of heart both on and off the ball--sacrificing the body to take a charge when needed.
