[player_tooltip player_id='2352719' first='Max' last='Nishikawa'] 6'3 PG Monte Vista: A good size guard who leads the team in scoring. He handles ball pressure bringing the ball up court. He plays with control using his body and dribble to get into the paint for jumpers, and contact drives that lead to free throws. He has good movement off ball using screens to find open spots for mid-range jumpers, he'll weave his way into the paint. He can hit corner 3's, and go hard along the baseline.

[player_tooltip player_id='2136797' first='Elijah' last='Payne'] 6'5 SF/W Modesto Christian: We see the value in Payne. He's a long wing type prospect who can knock down 3's spotting up for catch and shoot shots along the perimeter, in the corners or coming down in transition with rhythm. He moves well screening, and cutting looking for open space, setting his feet quickly, with a good release. He takes good shots. He's a ball mover, makes the extra pass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2440978' first='Ian' last='Desai'] 6'3 G/F/W, Monte Vista: He's a do it all type of prospect. He has good handles, and a solid body to go inside, and finish strong off two feet. We've seen him run, and set the offense in half-court using his body and dribble to penetrate the paint. He makes good decision on whether to pass or shoot. He drives it hard from the perimeter. He can hit the 3 pointer if left unattended.

[player_tooltip player_id='2215149' first='Trevor' last='Dickson'] 6'3 SG, Modesto Christian: We've already stated that Dickson is one of the better shooting guards in the 2027 Class. He can drop 3's all over the court if left open. What we've seen lately is Dickson making the effort to balance his game. He's often assigned at the beginning to defend the other teams top scorer. His lengthy arms, lateral movement, fight over/through screens, and determination to defend shows.

[player_tooltip player_id='2440124' first='Templeton' last='Fountaine V'], 6'3 SG Vanden: A good size shooting guard, probably still growing with an improving skill set. He's gained valuable experience coming off the bench in the early season, being part of the rotation, and finding ways to contribute. He Handles, passes, and moves the ball around, often making the right decision. He's made good moves going to the basket finishing drives. He's has a mid-range and a 3pt shot we'll see more of. He gives good effort on defense, stays in position to help. His best days are ahead.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352692' first='Adrian' last='Barnett'] 6'2 CG, King's Academy: Working a bit under the radar Barnett brings a versatile style that works for this team. He's not scoring a lot but does assist teammates putting points on the board with his vision and passing, 4 assists a game. He's a good ball handler with vision in transition, and facilitating in the half-court. He sees the court finding cutters from different angles going to the basket. He has the handles, and size to get into the paint for his own buckets, kick outs, and dump offs. He's averaging 4 rebs a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2443128' first='Kiran' last='Tate Day'] 5'9 Guard, Sacred Heart Cathedral: He's a speedy tough minded guard, leads his team in scoring almost 10pts a game. He's fast with quick crossover dribbles, and change of direction moves going to the basket. He's a willing passer looking to drive and dish out assist after getting into the paint. He's disruptive on the defensive side using quick hands and feet to stay close and disrupt. Standing only 5'9 he's not afraid to go in to fight for a rebound.

[player_tooltip player_id='2137369' first='Asante' last='Johnson'] 6'0 CG, Salesian College Prep: Playing on one of NorCal's top teams you have to defend to get on the court. Johnson goes all out on the defensive side of the ball. He's aggressive, moves laterally, he fights over and under screens sticking close to who ever he's defending. He's alert with good rotation helping weak side or getting out on the trap. He's an improving ball handler, keeps the ball moving. He'll go hard to the basket when he goes. Good upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2137373' first='Jerimyah' last='Owens'] 6'3 Forward, Weston Ranch: Standing 6'3 Owens can guard multiple positions. He's strong with good movement to make taller players work for points in the paint. He has foot speed to defend out along the perimeter. He hustles up court in transition, battles for rebounds on both ends. He goes up strong off two feet around the basket. Most of his points will come around the basket receiving, and getting put backs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2356520' first='Derek' last='Quan'] 5'10 PG Pioneer: A pass first point guard that likes to play fast. He's always looking for opportunities to push the ball up court in transition keeping defenders on their heels. A solid point guard who can settle things and run the half-court offense. He's a ball mover, with a burst into the paint to find shooters, or take it himself using paint jumpers and floaters.
