The 6-foot-4 combo guard has the moves and accuracy to score the ball from 3-levels, the court vision to make plays in the half court setting, as well as the open court, and has the length to alter shots from the weakside in the paint or on the perimeter with timely closeouts. Fountaine is a player I have seen several times and was part of the Team Lillard 16u squad that won the 3SSB 16s Championship, and a key contributor. Fountaine would start slowly in Vanden’s opening game against the sharp shooting and high tempo Pacifica Christian Tritons, but would get going in the second half to finish with 13 points, 10 of those after halftime. Foutaine wasted no time in the Viking’s second game, as he would drop 20 points to lead his team in scoring, connecting on 3 threes in the process, along with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, a block, and a steal. Fountaine has solid handles, keeps the dribble alive to survey the defense, uses the wide crossover, the between cross, and hesitation to get his defender off balance, he uses his long strides and burst off the bounce to get by his initial defender, has the body control to score through contact down the lane with creativity on the finish with the reverse or Euro-step lay-ups to score in tight windows. Fountaine gets good lift on the mid-range jumper off the dribble, is effective with the spin-fade middy on the baseline or off the wing, moves fluidly off the ball to get to his shot spots, and is accurate with the 3-ball off the catch or the bounce. Foutaine is a good positional rebounder, looks to push the pace of play up the court, and has the court vision to find open teammates ahead in transition or cutting off the ball in the half court setting. Controlled style of play with the ability to connect on tough shots and one of the better long term prospects at the event.

has emerged as one of the most impactful two-way players we’ve seen this summer, including other circuits outside the 3SSB league, the EYBL etc. A true hybrid guard, he brings value on both ends of the floor with a competitive edge that sets him apart.
Fountaine has a bit of a throwback persona—he plays like he genuinely takes offense to anyone scoring on him. That mentality, paired with his athleticism and natural instincts, makes him a constant disruptor defensively. Offensively, his athleticism shines just as much. His innate timing has already produced highlight-worthy moments, including a couple of viral tip-dunks that showcase his explosiveness.
At 6’3 with toughness, skill and a relentless approach, Fountaine is building serious momentum. Offers are already rolling in and it’s safe to say more are on the way as his name continues to grow on the recruiting scene. Look for him to be one of the bigger stock-risers out of Northern California in the 2027 class.

He had a breakout Spring with Team Lillard 16’s on the 3SSB Circuit. He has a good frame, still growing, and getting stronger, he’s adjusting to the physical play. He has an improving skill set that allows him to put points on the board, he spots up well for 3ptrs around the perimeter. He’s defending with effort, getting rebounds. Consistency will be key.

There were plenty of dunks over the weekend. But most attendees were blown away by the 6’2” guard Templeton Fountaine’s tip dunk. Initially Fountaine was considered out of the play, well beyond the three-point line when the shot went up from the right corner. Templeton sprinted into the paint catching the ball mid-air and flushed it down with two hands. It’s too bad this was the last game of the tournament more people would have enjoyed the highlight.

He’s a big guard still growing and getting stronger. He put himself on the radar at this event. He has a jump shot he hits from mid-range after a few dribbles, he’ll use a spin move at times to get to the rim. He moved to spots along the perimeter shot ready. He hit multiple catch corner 3’s. He took it strong to the basket in transition. He’s moving in the right direction. He has the size to rebound, and handles to push/pass in transition. He’s a riser.

He’s a rising prospect in the 2027 class. He’ll have his ups and downs as a first year varsity player. He’s a good size guard still growing into his body. He has some tools to work with. He can hit pull-up mid-range jumpers, along with open 3’s. He didn’t force things, made the right reads, moved without the ball. He put up good shots when they were there. He positioned himself on the defensive side of the ball.

He’s a shooting guard with a good upside to his game. Standing 6’2 or ‘3 he’s still growing. He has a smooth jump shot from mid-range out past the 3pt line. He has the dribble and body control to get to his spots, paint jumpers, and mid-range jumpers. He spots up in the corners and along the perimeter for 3’s he can hit. He’s good in open space.

A long guard, maybe a wing type for now. He has decent handles pushing and passing in transition, with moves to create his shot opportunities with the dribble or working off ball. He finished drives off the dribble handling contact. He has good hops to finish at the rim. We saw him drop a couple of catch 3’s from the perimeter, pull-up for mid-range jumpers. He’s got the length and speed to fill the lanes, defend out on the perimeter, get steals, and help on the boards.
