January is almost half over, meaning the season is in full swing. The 2027 class has made an impact on the floor so far this season, especially in Group 1. Here are the 2027 prospects off to a hot start this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201949' first='Ayyub' last='Wilson'], 6'0 PG Arts

Wilson has the ball in his hands more this season for the Jaguars and should continue to do so throughout the course of the season. The 6'0 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and finishes in a variety of ways around the basket. Wilson can also score in the mid-range and can thread passes to teammates in the halfcourt. He is a solid rebounder and uses his quick hands to get deflections on the defensive end. Wilson is a speedy guard prospect who knows how to make plays with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='2347936' first='Devin' last='Williams'], 6'2 SG Woodbury

Williams has made an impact right away for the Thundering Herd as he tops the team in scoring. The 6'2 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Williams is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finishes well around the basket. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. Williams has six 20-point games this season and should have more games like that this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2432045' first='Adam' last='Reilly'], 6'3 PF Hawthorne

Reilly has taken a big step up this season as he paces the Bears in scoring. The 6'3 forward knows how to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Reilly can draw contact in the paint and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and holds his ground on the defensive end. Reilly is a gritty forward prospect who should be the go-to guy down low for Hawthorne throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2619592' first='Maddox' last='Paulin'], 6'1 SG Shore Regional

Paulin has stepped into a big role this season and should continue to make shots throughout the course of the season. The 6'1 guard has a clean shooting stroke and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Paulin moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He moves his feet on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Paulin is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should continue to torch the nets from distance this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763532' first='Ean' last='Britt'], 6'4 W Weehawken

Britt has done a little bit of everything for the Indians this season, helping them to a 10-0 record this season. The 6'4 wing attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of contact. Britt uses his size to see over his defender and can find his open teammates in the halfcourt. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his length to make an impact on the defensive end. Britt has filled up the stat sheet this season for Weehawken and should continue to do so for the next couple of months.
