Thomas battled some foul trouble throughout the game against Cedar Falls, but the junior wing made some big shots as well, knocking down several big ones in the second half to keep the Cougars within striking distance. He's a long, athletic wing who can create plays off the dribble, using his handles, long strides, and quick release off the bounce to get to his shot whenever he wanted to. He can score from all three levels and is active on the glass. He had 11 points on 4-7 shooting (3-5 3P) with 4 rebounds.

Gerdes is really starting to round into a high-level player, as he showed against Kennedy in dropping 24 points on 9-13 shooting with 9 rebounds (6 offensive) and 4 blocks. A rangy forward with great hands and soft touch around the rim, he scores at a highly efficient clip, has started to fill out his frame which allows him to play through more contact, and his prowess at the free-throw line suggests some ability to add some range to his game. He's a really good rim protector with great timing and he does a nice job staying vertical and using his size to contest.

Kimbrough (pictured) was outstanding against Kennedy, scoring 17 points on 5-7 shooting (4-6 3P, 3-4 FT) with 7 rebounds and 4 assists against Kennedy. A big, physical guard with a silky smooth stroke, he was on fire from 3-point range, using his high-level off-ball movement and lightning quick release to torch the Cougars from deep. He's a shotmaker who is playing with a ton of confidence.

SF Jorden Meyer (West Lyon)

A 6-1 wing who can do a little bit of everything, Meyer plays bigger than his listed size with his combination of strength, length, and athleticism. He provides some versatility on both ends of the floor with his ability to defend multiple spots, and he's great on the glass from his wing spot. He had 10 points and 9 rebounds against St. Mary's.

Gary stood out in the Kennedy/Cedar Falls sophomore game, but he got some big varsity minutes as well. An athletic, quick guard who can play with or without the ball in his hands, he showed the ability to create plays off the dribble for himself and his teammates, as well as some confidence as a shooting threat from 3-point range. He's a talented scorer and playmaker with good vision and handles who figures to be a big part of the Tigers future.
