Closing out a busy 72 hour stretch with four more games from the Tournament of Champions in Tulsa. First up was Okay racing out to an early lead over Wilson. Then keeping them at arm's length. After that, a familiar ToC match up for the Consolation Championship. This time it was Crossings Christian getting the better of Dale.

Money in the mid-range. Got to his spots with ease and raised up over the Wilson guards for tough jumpers. Including a buzzer beater to end the first half. His good first step to go with a broad shoulder frame has turned him into one of the better small town scorers in Oklahoma. After a strong previous grassroots summer, it's good to see him still developing and being one of the more complete scorers in 2026.

The junior year breakout continues for Buckingham, as the skilled guard continues to provide a valuable scoring punch for Crossings. Had a game high 21 points with 5-9 shooting from three. Timely scoring down the stretch to stop a Dale run and help seal the game away. The rising guard is also buying in more on the defensive end, as he recorded 3 steals and is staying active. Even blocking a shot, that also led to transition points. Buckingham has made the most of his opportunity for a Crossings team that needed to reload around two senior stars, and he's now a vital piece.

Cool and calm Cal finished out his four year Tournament of Champions career with a casual 15 point and 5 assists. Scored in spurts when needed, including a second quarter stretch where he cooked in the mid-range. It won't be the last time the 405 guard shines in the 918, as he's signed with Oral Roberts.

Always a blast to watch Davis, as he's sure to deliver a highlight reel play or two. Quick hand defender with steals. Then's he got an unpredictable style with his ball handling ability and ball fakes. One second quarter player in particular stands out where a head fake made a defender bite, then he wrapped around a slick pass to a teammate. He also hit his customary deep threes and tough mid-range jumpers to combine with Clark for a great dynamic duo.

Chambers always seems to bring it against Crossings and today was no different. He was the bright spot for Dale, with a 17 point and 9 rebound performance. Was impressive in his tenacity against a Knights squad that has some size. Even stepped out and drained a three. More performances like that will be crucial for Chambers and the Pirates, as they pursue their fourth straight Gold Ball.

One of the four brothers for Wilson, Shelburn over the last two days was never afraid to mix it up. Often the first to the floor for loose balls and a battler mentality on defense. Scored in spurts, from scrappy transition points to the occasional jumper. His toughness seems to help set the tone, as his energy was crucial in Wilson climbing out of an early hole. And even putting a little scare into Okay in the final minutes. Will now look for a repeat in Class B.
