Sam Duren | Prep Hoops Scout
Averaging over 30 points a game, Clark recently dropped 53 points in only three quarters. The athletic and powerful guard was dialed in from three in that victory, hitting 10 of them. His ability to produce showtime dunks in transition and shoot off the dribble makes him one of the most entertaining players to watch in Oklahoma. The Northeastern State signee is looking like a steal for the Riverhawks.

Clark flirted with a quadruple double double in Okay’s season opening win. He had 25 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and eight steals. He followed it up with 32 points and 7 rebounds in game number two. The explosive scoring guard currently has Okay ranked 3rd in Class A. He’s looking to lead them to their fourth straight State Tournament appearance. The Northeastern State signee is flat out one of the best scorers in Oklahoma, regardless of classification. Clark and his Mustangs are playing in the Haskell tournament this week.

Clark is a relentless driver, with power and explosiveness packed into his sturdy frame. Can be a “bully ball” player with the way he attacks the rim. Compliments his drives with one of the best midrange jumpers in the state. Has similar efficiency from deep, but his mid-range has become his signature scoring move. Can bring the excitement in transition, and should be more of a half court dunker in traffic. Fantastic job by local NSU to look him down, as he has All Conference type potential as an upperclassman.

Small town grinder, who is strong and athletic on drives. Leaned into bully ball aspects at times, with the way he muscled into the lane and finished through contact. But still has his great mid-range game and overall scoring ability. True hooper, who seems to always be ready to get some run. And score some buckets. Type of prospect who’s play mentality indicates he will find a spot at the next level and thrive.

Clark continues to be one of the most productive players in Oklahoma’s senior class. He’s a great mix of strength, craft and just enough quickness to turn the corner on drives and pressure the rim. His rugged country strong finishing goes very well with the ability to stop and pop in the mid-range. Was a very tough cover in Texhoma’s win over one of Oklahoma’s top programs. With a coach’s son background to go along with his bucket giving offensive game, it’s no wonder local program NSU has already offered. More offers should come as Clark keeps producing at the 17U level.

The Mustangs have been on the cusp of a state title for a few seasons. And the continual development of Clark could prove the difference maker this year. He’s become a mid-range maven, with a good combination of smooth and suddenness when he stops to gain separation. Is also a physical finisher with good lift around the rim. Over the last year, has matured into one of the better all around scorers in Oklahoma, regardless of classification. Should put on a scoring show to close out the Big House, with his long range bombing teammate Davis.

Money in the mid-range. Got to his spots with ease and raised up over the Wilson guards for tough jumpers. Including a buzzer beater to end the first half. His good first step to go with a broad shoulder frame has turned him into one of the better small town scorers in Oklahoma. After a strong previous grassroots summer, it’s good to see him still developing and being one of the more complete scorers in 2026.

has quickly broken out as one of the fastest risers in the class of 2026. He is a solid shooter from deep who also plays with great control while attacking the rim. Following a great summer of development, Clark appears ready to bring a more versatile offensive game to Okay with a wider variety of scoring skill and improved passing vision. This first look at him in the Tournament of Champions could paint a clearer picture of just how he will impact games throughout his Junior year.

Clark is at the “looks better every time watched” stage of his development. The 2026 prospect was one of the most productive players at the event while playing with and going against mainly 2025 prospects. He’s a decisive downhill attacker, with the footwork to either navigate the lane or stop on a dime and drill a mid-range jumper. The extra burst he’s showing with his first step, combined with a broad shoulder frame that should fill out, really elevates his full scoring package. The coach’s son is starting to make the next step as a passer as well. After a strong start to his high school career, Clark’s recent play and an offer from Northeastern State indicate he’s ready to take a further step in his productive play.

At a recent AAU tournament was the first look at the small town prospect since December’s Tournament of Champions. He looked more confident with his handles and was an improved attacker because of this. There were spurts of getting to his spots in the mid-range and hitting pull up jumpers with ease. With his improving ball handling ability to go along with his strong frame and above average athleticism, the Okay Mustang is showing that his small school success can translate to bigger stages.
