Through two games Sellers is fifth in the ECC in scoring and leading the conference in rebounding. The lefty is a tough match-up in the post and can hurt you with his size, physicality and motor. Through two games Sellers has 11 offensive rebounds, creating extra possessions for himself and his teammates. Also able to get to the foul line, in his season debut at Mason, Sellers shot 17 free throws! Hoping to see Sellers improve on his 52% mark as the season goes on, he was at 60% as a Junior. It's been impressive to see the statistical leap Sellers has made from Junior to Senior year, doubling his points and rebounders per game. Despite his collegiate future being signed to the baseball diamond, Sellers is one of the most dominant interior forces in the greater Cincinnati area.

Theado just got done winning a state championship on the gridiron with a monster game in the title game from the tight end position. He continues to impress me with his production in both sports as just a player who helps you win games, produces and competes. After averaging 18 points and 9 rebounds a game as a Junior, it'll be interesting to see where Theado improves his game as a senior. Excited to continue to track his growth as one of the top all around athletes in central Ohio's 2025 class who has the athleticism to play either sport at the college level if he desires to.

While the guards at Aiken get their deserved attention, I don't believe their team would be anywhere near as successful without a guy like Smith in the paint. Currently second in the CMAC in FG% at 65%, Smith is also averaging almost 8 rebounds a night as well. With his team looking to defend their CMAC title, Smith provides the versatility to defend multiple positions, score on the interior and run in transition. Hoping to see Smith become a consistent presence as a shot blocker and show some more counter moves in the half-court but the efficiency he's playing with to start the season is encouraging.

Kettering Alter has excellent depth at the forward position with a handful of guys standing between 6'5 and 6'8 on their roster. Lunne leads the team in rebounding at over 7 a game and is third in the GCL-Co Ed as well. Another efficient scorer at the rim, Lunne is shooting 70% from the floor which leads the conference in FG% by 13% over the next highest player. Lunne has earned small college interest from a handful of programs so it'll be interesting if he ends up playing college basketball where he ends up. He'll be first hoping to lead Alter to a back-to-back state championship.

Another CMAC standout, Keita is one of the rare players at the high school level averaging a double-double. I was impressed with the improved ball handling I saw from Keita in a preseason scrimmage. Also playing tough against top competition, Keita had 21 points on 8/10 shooting in Western Hills big win over Cincinnati Elder. A name to know from the Cincinnati area.

Vickerstaff made the move to Cleveland Glenville as the Tarblooders are loaded this season in the Cleveland Senate league. He started the season with an 18 point performance in a blowout victory over CVCA, Vickerstaff fit in quickly in the new colors. Hoping to get up to Cleveland to catch Vickerstaff in person this winter, I'm hoping Glenville can make a deep playoff run with their experienced roster.
