Expert Analysis
Michael Roth | Prep Hoops Scout
Kettering Alter has excellent depth at the forward position with a handful of guys standing between 6’5 and 6’8 on their roster. Lunne leads the team in rebounding at over 7 a game and is third in the GCL-Co Ed as well. Another efficient scorer at the rim, Lunne is shooting 70% from the floor which leads the conference in FG% by 13% over the next highest player. Lunne has earned small college interest from a handful of programs so it’ll be interesting if he ends up playing college basketball where he ends up. He’ll be first hoping to lead Alter to a back-to-back state championship.

Finally, we have Matt Lunne Matt Lunne 6'7" | C Kettering Alter | 2025 State OH , a big-bodied post with a bruiser style that uses strength and toughness to be effective on the court. Lunne has good size and can move his feet defensively but is still progressing as an offensive player. The game I saw against Bishop Fenwick, Lunne had a couple blocks and showed some defensive potential. Alter has a team led by a trio of senior guards so Lunne will have to play a much bigger role next season if the Knights want to continue to compete in the GCL-Co-ed.
