Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage from the annual Sneakers For Santa Shootout at Brownsburg High School on Saturday. This event, regarded as one of the best single day shootouts in the Midwest, featured six games that included some of the top teams and players in the state of Indiana. Our live blog kept you up to date throughout the event and you know the big names who stood out. However, let's take a look a bit deeper and highlight some of the more under-the-radar names that made their presence known at the Sneakers For Santa Shootout.

It was a tough showing for the host Brownsburg Bulldogs as they fell in overtime to Bedford North Lawrence 45-41. However, [player_tooltip player_id='2053666' first='Michael' last='Addison'] was a bright spot for the Bulldogs scoring all 17 of his points in the second half to try and will them to victory. The senior guard shot it well from beyond the arc and made enough shots to give them a little legitimate chance to win the game down the stretch.

Avery did not play in the first game of the season when we watched Ben Davis play Fishers. However, the senior point guard suited up on Saturday night and posted 9 points and 8 assists for Ben Davis in a 57-52 loss to Greenfield-Central. He has always impressed as a dynamic playmaker with the physicality necessary to play through contact on the perimeter. Look for him to continue to play a big role in the absence of Zackery.

We will keep beating the drum for this senior guard every chance we get because he is having an outstanding start to the season for Crispus Attucks. Cousins finished with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in a 69-59 win over East Chicago Central on Saturday evening. He also earned an offer from Marian University-Ancilla after his strong performance. More small college programs need to make it a point to see him play as the season continues.

The Everingham family played a big role in NorthWood's comeback win over Zionsville. Maddux, a sharp-shooting guard that transferred in from Wawasee, was the best of the bunch though finishing with 12 points and getting hot from beyond the arc in the second half. Despite trailing by 12 points at the half, NorthWood defeated Zionsville 51-40 in the second game on Saturday. Everingham is an under-the-radar guard for small college programs to keep an eye on.

Admittedly, there were not many bright spots for Gary West Side on Saturday evening. They trailed 19-0 to begin the game and Lawrence North would end up putting the running clock on them in a 72-31 win. However, this 6'5" senior forward showed himself as an under-the-radar prospect. Holmes, a smooth left-handed face-up forward, scored a team-high 10 points in the loss. He knocked down a catch-and-shoot three-point shot, showed some athleticism getting to the rim, and proved to be a versatile threat both inside and out.

We have been really high on Ladd here at Prep Hoops Indiana since the summer. However, the state as a whole is just starting to take notice following the Sneakers For Santa Shootout. The 6'4" guard led Ben Davis with 16 points to go with 3 rebounds and 4 assists, but the Giants fell to Greenfield-Central 57-52. His combination of length, athleticism, and ball skill makes him a very intriguing prospect in the Class of 2026.

Talk about stuffing the stat sheet. Wallace finished with 19 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals on Saturday evening, but East Chicago Central came up short against Crispus Attucks 69-59. The super athletic 6'4" wing is one of the best rebounding perimeter players in the state and is a disruptive, versatile defender as well. Really strong showing for him against one of the top teams in the state.
