The reigning Central League POY was cooking on Friday night duirng Marple's win over Central League rival Radnor. Gardler drained 2 threes, popped a few mid-range jumpers, and converted on tough lay-ins through contact. Additionally, Gardler shot 15-of-18 from the free throw line. When the final buzzer sounded Gardler had registered 31 points. Over half of those points came in the 2nd quarter when Gardler poured in 16 straight points for Marple. His ability to score out of DHOs and via ball screens was impressive.

This Lafayette College commit recorded a double double of 16 points and 13 rebounds during Roman's win over Archbishop Spalding (MD). Jackson dominated the paint at both ends. On offense he scored via post ups, dives to the rim and the offensive glass. His interior footwork looks much more polished this season. Jackson's up and under as well as pivot moves made him unstoppable in close. Defensively, Jackson protected the rim and cleaned the glass.

After a monster start to the 2024-25 season, Johnston has quickly confirmed that he is one of the elite guard prospects in the state. Over the weekend, Hill traveled to Connecticut for two games and Johnston was simply one fire. He scored at every level as he posted games of 16 and 22 points. Johnston also averaged 7 rebounds per game and at times worked as a distributor. In addition to tearing up opponents on the offensive end, Johnston was a plus defender who produced steals that led to easy transition buckets. Johnston holds a slew of DI offers and recently added one from Georgetown to his pile.

One of the favorites to win the Mid-Penn Conference POY award poured in 35 points against an extremely talented Central Dauphin team. Smith popped 7 triples in that game. A couple of those made threes were from NBA distance. Still, it was Smith's downhill dribble drives that impressed us the most. Smith relentlessly attacked the rim off the bounce. Once he got to the cup, Smith finished with either hand. When CD's defenders managed to cut him off, Smith hit fadeaways or scored off two feet. His ability to absorb contact while putting the ball on the floor will impress college coaches.
