Chesterton @ East Chicago Central

Chesterton is off to a 4-1 start following a win over Brownsburg on Saturday at Grace. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1989437' first='Logan' last='Pokorney'] and sophomore sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id='2140448' first='Tobias' last='Ray'] are the prospects to watch for the Trojans. They will travel to take on East Chicago Central on Tuesday night. The Cardinals are 4-2 with losses coming to Crispus Attucks and Crown Point who are both ranked in the Top 5 of this week's Prep Hoops Indiana Super Poll. Indiana All-Star candidate [player_tooltip player_id='1297020' first='Dominique' last='Murphy Jr'] is the leader for East Chicago Central averaging a double-double of 20.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.

Marquette Catholic @ Gary West Side

Don't let the records fool you. These are two of the best teams in The Region. Gary West Side is 3-4 having played a very difficult schedule to this point. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560995' first='Reggie' last='Hinton'], along with seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2053673' first='Derek' last='Collins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1296975' first='Anthony' last='Holmes'], lead the way for the Cougars. Meanwhile, Marquette Catholic is a Top 10 Class 1A team led by dynamic sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2414957' first='Josiah' last='Mays'] and 6'7" junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1561100' first='Colson' last='Dobre']. The Blazers are looking to bounce back from a surprising loss to Kouts.

Manchester @ LaVille

Watching [player_tooltip player_id='1539480' first='Collin' last='Czarnecki'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297028' first='Gavin' last='Betten'] trade buckets in this one will be worth the price of admission. The host LaVille Lancers are 3-2 on the back of 22.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game from the senior guard. Czarnecki is a highly sought after small college prospect. As for Grace signee [player_tooltip player_id='1297028' first='Gavin' last='Betten'], he is stuffing the stat sheet averaging 24.8 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.6 steals, and 2.6 blocks per game for the Squires. Manchester is currently 4-1 and knocking on the door of the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Top 10.

Mt. Vernon (Fortville) @ Anderson

This will be the Prep Hoops [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] of the Night as we will have live, boots on the ground coverage from Anderson High School. The Indians are 4-0 and ranked #9 in this week's Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10. Senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1297010' first='Damien' last='King'] averages 26.3 points and 8.0 rebounds for Anderson while standout freshman wing Don Bowling adds 10.3 points per game. Mt. Vernon (Fortville) comes in ranked #20 in this week's Prep Hoops Indiana Super Poll with a 4-1 record. Class of 2026 Purdue commit [player_tooltip player_id='1728587' first='Luke' last='Ertel'] leads the way averaging 20.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game for the Marauders.

NorthWood @ Jimtown

Class 3A #10 NorthWood travels to Class 2A #8 Jimtown in a matchup between two teams that are off to a 5-0 start to the season. The Jimmes of Jimtown are led by their dynamic duo of Olivet Nazarene signee [player_tooltip player_id='1297022' first='Dylan' last='Fey'] who averages a team-leading 20.8 points per game and 6'7" senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2391222' first='Branden' last='King'] who puts up 18.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. On the NorthWood side, 6'8" Grace signee [player_tooltip player_id='1297122' first='Tyler' last='Raasch'] is the obvious player to watch. The battle between him and King inside will be a fun one. However, the addition of [player_tooltip player_id='2391220' first='Maddux' last='Everingham'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2417743' first='Myles' last='Everingham'] has really been the difference for the Panthers this season. The senior twin guards are solid small college prospects.
