Krisko was a dangerous force underneath the basket. Really put on a 5-man masterclass, showcasing his high level of skill in the post. He gave the defending team a hard time with his efficient decision-making on the floor. Hit some nice fadeaways in the post and also mixed his defender with some smooth footwork down low. Was truly dominant when going 1-on-1, but when the defense started to double-team he kicked the ball out to his shooters with precision. Solid size and rebounding to add to his lethal offensive production.

A 32-point outburst from the Michigan State commit turned many heads out at the Wicomico. Pieced together a very efficient scoring game, proving he could score from all three levels without much resistance. Liked the way he showed his versatility throughout Largo's win. Protected the rim well and as usual, pulled down a lot of rebounds.

Jordan was an all-around assassin for South Lakes in both his performances. He rebounded over the opposition consistently with timing and length, which he also used to shoot over the defense. Extremely efficient pullup game in the midrange off the dribble or a dribble-breakdown. He made some very nice drives to the rim, maneuvering right around the defense with a smooth euro or a strong controlled take that switched in pace. Shot the ball well from around the floor. Had some strong finishes at the rim as well. Quite the couple games for Scott at the Gov Challenge

[player_tooltip player_id='1371863' first='Omarr' last='Smith'] was one of the top scorers and names through the whole event. New Mexico State is getting a pure 3-level scoring guard who can fill it up in many ways. Smith spent the weekend showcasing deep bag, scoring off tough drives to the rim, or taking a dribble or two into a nice elevated pull-up jumper from about 22 feet. He has some very underrated strength at the basket, finishing multiple and-ones with either hand. Knocked down a fair amount of free-throws and three-pointers. Phenomenal scoring outburst from Smith, totaling 43 in a South Lake showdown and 30+ next game out over Stephen Decatur.

Another statement performance from the prolific-scoring guard Haki. Led New Hope to an undefeated stint at the Challenge, walking away with a bracket championship. Showed again he can perform with extreme efficiency and lead the rest of the Tigers to the W. Picked his spots to score when he felt he could attack best. Finished very well at the cup and avoided blocks well with nice finishes. Plays both ends of the floor at a high-level, something I'm starting to appreciate more and more from Haki's game. Seems to take a step in the right direction after every game even in his senior season. Scouts need to be watching what Haki is starting to put together with this NHA national squad.

DeVonte was a key part in Fairmont Heights winning their bracket. Had two nice showings running the show at PG. His first game featured more of his scoring, seeing him make a few key jumpshots from beyond the arc. He mixed the defense well and got in between to make some nice assists. In his next game out he really set the tone defensively, flying actively around the whole floor breaking up all kinds of plays. Took about 3 or 4 charges that really broke the flow of the opponent's offense. Came out with injury for a bit, but returned to the floor to continue to closeout the game. Hearty performance from the senior PG in Salisbury.

Jacob was the clear catalyst for Severn in their pursuit of a bracket championship @ Gov Challenge. He had a motivating all-around performance, serving as the main force on the glass, grabbing a lot of rebounds. Then controlled the ball for Severn pretty efficiently, handling it through the tough Carroll defense. Got to the basket effectively off the dribble, and finished well at the basket through contact and pressure. Defended the basket well too, and played sound defense without fouling. Randall did it all and was a big reason for Severn walking away with their bracket championship.
