Diane Mosco Shootout: SEPA Prospects to Watch

Across Wood's opening four game stretch, Phillips is averaging 17.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Phillips is a long, fast, and athletic guard with hops. Those assets enable him to score in transition with ease. On half-court possessions, he can drain threes or score off the bounce. Phillips can also work as a secondary where he is an effective pick-n-roll player and can get into the paint for kick out passes. His recent impressive performances include posting 13 points (1 three) against Cheltenham as well as 11 points against Wissahickon. Ragsdale is a threat to pop threes, but his preferred method of scoring is attacking the rim off the dribble from the wing or the elbows. Once Ragsdale gets to the cup, he can score off two feet or elevate and then finish over defenders. Ragsdale can also fill a lane on the fast break and then convert through contact. Rill splashed a couple of threes in that game, proving that he could operate as a stretch-4 at the next level. This big lefty also dominated the interior at both ends against Spring Grove. On offense he scored on short jumpers and flip hooks, as well as post ups, and via the offensive glass. At the other end of the court, Rill blocked shots and cleaned the glass. Here in the 2024-25 season, Thear has already shown that he intends to post a monster senior campaign. Earlier this month Thear posted 14 points (4 threes) against Sankofa Freedom Academy. Then just this week he registered a stat line of 17 points, 7 assists and 5 steals in a win over Holy Cross. As the numbers show, Thear owns a well-rounded skill set that enables him to stuff the stat book. He is an accurate three-point shooter with logo distance range. Thear also possesses underrated transition finishing skills. He is ability to kiss shots off the glass from difficult angles is noteworthy.
