[player_tooltip player_id='2125612' first='Devin' last='Cleveland'] (Kenwood)

Cleveland lived up to his top ranking in their game against Warren. He didn't shoot it from the perimeter as well as he usually does only knocking in 1-4 from deep, but got it done in other ways. Creative ball handler that won off the bounce getting to the charity stripe where he was 6-6. Long and lanky combo guard with projectability continues to improve his all-around floor game as a distributor becoming a complete guard. Finished with 17 points (5-12 FG) (6-6 FT), 5 rebounds, and 4 boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323624' first='Davion' last='Thompson'] (Bolingbrook)

Thompson is among the premier prospects regardless of class in the state. He has moments of brilliance taking over for the Raiders in their win against Kankakee. Slick ball handler that was slippery through traffic slithering through defenders while making tough conversions at the rack. Such an excellent ball handler that can win with straight line takes, change gears, and finish with craftiness in the paint. Got to the line at a high rate, rebounded well, and we were impressed with his passing in this one. Impressive stat line of 22 points (8-13 FG), 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323571' first='Jaxson' last='Davis'] (Warren)

Davis had a nice outing in his head to head matchup with Cleveland. The lefty point guard from Warren impressed most with his passing. He was on point all game long with the way he set up his teammates in transition, hitting shooters, and cutters. Nifty layups around the hoop with slick euro steps, spinning layups, and and-1s on blow by moves. Struggled shooting it, but he made up for it with his all-around game. Also liked the quickness he displayed on the defensive end. Finished with 17 points (7-20 FG), 4 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125677' first='Reggie' last='Stevens'] (St. Laurence)

Stevens is a combo guard that was lights out shooting it from beyond the arc. He went 3-3 from beyond the three point line along with getting to the foul line. Solid passer and has his best basketball ahead of him. The jump shot plays anywhere! Top 10 sophomore went for 12 points against Lincoln Park.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323617' first='Markese' last='Peoples'] (St. Laurence)

Peoples had a strong game for St. Laurence against Lincoln Park. Thick bodied guard that was in attack mode downhill on reverse layups, spinning finishes, and finishing on quick passes out of the dunker spot. Rebounds well for his position. He had 9 points (3-5 FG) and 3 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323622' first='Damari' last='Stephens'] (Kenwood)

Stephens is a thick bodied power wing that had an efficient showing in their win over Warren. The sophomore has good size and strength on the perimeter. Loves to use that to overpower opponents on straight line takes getting downhill along with crashing the offensive glass for second chance points. He had 6 points (3-4 FG) and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532358' first='Zaire' last='Green'] (Whitney Young)

Green put his name on the map in the fall and this was our first chance to see him in person with the Dolphins. The sophomore strong bodied two guard can really shoot the ball from distance where he went 3-6. Definitely was not fazed by the big stage at all. Also used that strength crashing the glass and converting off a dump off pass. Went for 13 points (5-8 FG) and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2750017' first='Jimmy' last='Watts'] (Fenwick)

Watts opened eyes with a strong showing in the first game of the event. The 6'0” shooting guard came off the bench flame throwing hitting a pair of threes letting it fly with a ton of confidence. He had 8 points (3-6 FG) and 4 rebounds.
