These are prospects that can impact a game in a variety of ways; offensively, defensively, in the paint, on the perimeter, and more.

Below are 10 wings you should know before the season tips.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341428' first='Ryan' last='Bernard']

One of the MIAA's top perimeter shooters, Bernard will play a major role for Natick this winter. The lefty makes good decisions with the basketball, has a fluid release on his jumper, and can finish through contact at the rim. With good positional size, a plus wingspan, and the ability to cover a lot of ground laterally, he's a strong mutlipositional defender too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2546836' first='Mikey' last='Dankert']

Potentially the most versatile prospect in the MIAA, Dankert will look to lead Bourne to a state championship this winter. At 6'5", he has the ability to play on the perimeter or in the post, is comfortable as a decision maker with the ball in his hands, and can defend 1's through 5's. He's a multi-level scorer that knows how to take smaller defenders into the post, while utilizing his quickness on the perimeter against traditional posts.

[player_tooltip player_id='2453028' first='Ebe' last='Efosa']

An athletic wing with the ability to score off the bounce, Efosa has a chance to lead Whittier on a deep playoff run this winter. At 6'4" with impressive athleticism and a good motor, he's proven to be a strong rebounder on both ends of the floor. He's tough to guard in transition and does a great job of getting downhill to finish around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532462' first='Jayden' last='Johnson']

A jack-of-all-trades on the wing, Johnson will play a starring role for Leominster this season. He's a capable scorer, proving to be particularly crafty around the rim, while also showing capable of knocking down perimeter jumpers. He thrives in transition and does a great job of creating steals and deflections off the ball on the defensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2546965' first='Zach' last='Romich']

A big, playmaking wing, Romich will be a leader for Groton-Dunstable this winter. A talented scorer at all three levels, he's the type of perimeter shooter that can get hot in a hurry. He does a good job as a secondary ball-handler, limiting turnovers while making good reads in the half-court. He should be able to put up some big numbers offensively this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568442' first='Brandon' last='McCloud Jr.']

A high motor wing with impressive athleticism, McCloud should be one of the state's top underclassmen this winter for East Longmeadow. He does a great job of utilizing his athletic gifts, particularly as a downhill driver and in transition, to finish at the rim. He's not afraid of contact, does a good job of rebounding in space, and shows the ability to lock down defensively in isolation.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341420' first='Aboubakar' last='Nimaka']

A terrific, multi-positional defender, Nimaka will look to help Malden Catholic to a 4th straight state championship this winter. He impresses defensively with his combination of athleticism, length, and instincts in passing lanes. Offensively, he's a threat to knock down threes in catch and shoot situations, while also proving to be a creative finisher around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2547077' first='Jesse' last='Osafo']

A dynamic athlete on the wing, Osafo should be among the state's top wing rebounders this winter for Shrewsbury. A quick twitch athlete with long arms, Osafo shines on the defensive end of the floor with his ability to keep ballhandlers in front of him while deterring shots at the rim. He's a good cutter, can make plays as a straight line driver, and finishes above the rim with a clear runway.

[player_tooltip player_id='1532631' first='Teagan' last='Swint']

Arguably the top scorer in the MIAA, Swint will carry a big scoring load this winter as he tries to lead Newton North on a deep playoff run. At 6'4", he has the size to finish over small defenders and the quickness to break down bigger defenders in space. He scores at all three levels, isn't afraid to take big shots, and continues to add elements to his game as a creator.

[player_tooltip player_id='2465136' first='Foster' last='Wilinski']

A long wing with tons of versatility, Wilinski could play his way into all-state consideration this winter for Needham. At 6'5", he's a strong ball-handler with the ability to make good reads in the half-court. He's a high level shooter from the perimeter that knows how to leverage his shooting to open up driving lanes. He's comfortable with the ball in his hands and generally makes others around him better with his decision making.
