Larson is already showing in one game how he can affect the game defensively. He's a strong perimeter defender, rebounds at a high rate, and even blocked some shots inside against Seattle Academy. He's a pretty versatile, well-rounded defender who should continue to make a big impact on that end. Larson also showed some good touch finishing with either hand around the hoop.

Kiehl is a sophomore to watch who jumped into the starting lineup for Monroe at their jamboree this week. He showed some impressive growth with his physical tools and handle, looking quicker and more threatening off the bounce. Monroe already has some guards who can shoot or slash, but Kiehl could bring a good balance of both to the floor, as well as an extra ballhandler who can create off the bounce.

Axton is a swiss-army-knife who can play wing, off-guard, and even run the show for Central Valley. In their jamboree, he showed some effectiveness scoring from all three levels, and he's shown some good improvements scoring off the bounce and stretching the floor. He'll be a kid who fills a lot of gaps for them this season and can impact the game in different ways on a night-to-night basis.

Williams looked very smooth scoring the rock early on against Woodinville at the Woodinville Jamboree. Even in the shorter games, Williams showed some creativity with the rock, and how he can play off his outside shot to get to space and score closer in. He has some real quickness and shake off the bounce and should be an effective secondary scorer for them again this winter.

The freshman point guard is a tough kid who stood out for Overlake as a kid who can create for others and sees the floor pretty well. He did not seem out of his element at all in his first high school action, controlling the rock, making plays off the bounce, and acting as their main creator, moving the ball around with the pass and the dribble. He looks pretty confident so far and should continue to play a big role for Overlake this winter.
