Early Impressions of ’27s & ’28s

He's a strong perimeter defender, rebounds at a high rate, and even blocked some shots inside against Seattle Academy. He's a pretty versatile, well-rounded defender who should continue to make a big impact on that end. He showed some impressive growth with his physical tools and handle, looking quicker and more threatening off the bounce. In their jamboree, he showed some effectiveness scoring from all three levels, and he's shown some good improvements scoring off the bounce and stretching the floor. Even in the shorter games, Williams showed some creativity with the rock, and how he can play off his outside shot to get to space and score closer in. He did not seem out of his element at all in his first high school action, controlling the rock, making plays off the bounce, and acting as their main creator, moving the ball around with the pass and the dribble. He looks pretty confident so far and should continue to play a big role for Overlake this winter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
