Eban looks set for a strong senior season at Minneapolis Camden, and helped lead them to a win over Duluth East in the game I watched. The 2025 guard is a lights out shooter, but set the tone early on with his passing. Camden played with 4+ guards on the floor at all times, and were constantly looking to push the tempo. With that, Eban did a great job of launching the ball ahead in transition, and finding his wings slashing to the basket in the half-court. Also added four makes from beyond the arc in the win.

STMA had no answer for [player_tooltip player_id='1579885' first='Nolan' last='Groves'] as he put up some impressive scoring numbers in the win for Orono. He was lighting it up from beyond the arc, bullying his way to the rim for easy makes inside, and got up for a pair of dunks in transition. You'll rarely see Nolan have a bad game, and a lot of that comes down to not overcomplicating things. He doesn't over dribble, and takes the shots that the defense is giving him. Nolan's work off the court has benefited him as well, as you can tell he's continued to add muscle over the last two seasons, and can simply overpower opposing guards to get to the basket.

Julian isn't the biggest player, and he's not going to stand out with elite athleticism, but the pace he plays with allows him to create so much for CDH. Even against a Park Center team loaded with quickness, Julian was running circles around defenders, as they simply couldn't read his movements. He does a great job of coming off screens and playing with a defender on his hip, can hit the open three, and does a nice job of finding an open teammate when he gets into the lane. With a ton of weapons around him, Julian's ability to create could be key for this team.

Temi looks like he's put in a lot of work on his jumper over the past year, and it showed against CDH. In a close loss he was knocking down threes off the catch, and even coming off screens ready to catch and get his shot off before a defender could catch up. With that he looks to be more versatile than ever, but his bread and butter is still finishing inside. Temi made some great cuts to open up looks around the rim, and showcased good footwork playing off two feet to create angles to score over size. Really liked the toughness he played with on defense, going up against a 6'10 player and limiting the amount of touches he was able to get on the block.

Riley looks to have grown into much more of a three point shooter heading into his senior season. In a pair of games on Sunday he was extremely aggressive getting to the rim, and showed a nice burst to elevate and score through some contact. When he got an edge to attack, he showed he can cover a lot of ground off a single dribble, and does a nice job of utilizing his 6'4 frame to extend and finish. Still showed some of that shooting range from well beyond the arc, with the touch to hit shots off the catch or dribble. Led his team past Richfield before coming up short against Sauk Rapids-Rice.

Jordan looks set to play a key role for STMA this season, bringing size and shooting touch to the floor. He's difficult to matchup with as not many teams have a guy at 6'6 who's comfortable stepping out and defending on the perimeter. Jordan's range beyond the arc forces you to step out and defend him closely, drawing size away from the basket where his teammates can hurt you.

Joel has put together a really impressive fall running with Park Center. Defensively he plays so hard, constantly applying pressure on the ball and forcing mistakes out of opposing point guards. He's gone up against some of the best the state has to offer at his position, and is holding his own, or out-playing everyone he comes up against. Joel excels at getting to the rim in a number of ways, and has the body control to hang in the air and finish through contact. Tough-as-nails point guard who could be in for a breakout junior season.
