It wasn’t the prettiest game for Temi, but the 6’5 forward went out and produced. His combination of size, strength, and energy allowed him to battle for rebounds inside, and he did a great job of drawing contact and earning trips to the free throw line. He’s not afraid of playing physical inside, and was constantly drawing fouls, knocking down his free throws at a solid percentage to work his way to 16 points. High energy forward who always goes out and plays with intensity and effort.

This hasn’t been an ideal start for Park Center as they dropped another one to a tough Mankato East team. One of the bright spots in that game though was the energy and effort that

played with. He’s constantly battling on the glass, competing defensively, and fighting to finish through contact inside. He’s a strong and explosive wing/forward who’s going to go out and play hard on both ends until the final buzzer. You can tell he goes out there wanting to compete and isn’t going to be satisfied until Park Center gets back to their winning ways.

Temi looks like he’s put in a lot of work on his jumper over the past year, and it showed against CDH. In a close loss he was knocking down threes off the catch, and even coming off screens ready to catch and get his shot off before a defender could catch up. With that he looks to be more versatile than ever, but his bread and butter is still finishing inside. Temi made some great cuts to open up looks around the rim, and showcased good footwork playing off two feet to create angles to score over size. Really liked the toughness he played with on defense, going up against a 6’10 player and limiting the amount of touches he was able to get on the block.

If Temi continues to play in the way he has this fall, he should be in for a productive senior season. Whereas in years past he’s tried to float out on the perimeter and make plays there, he’s starting to find his play-style now as a senior, dominating in the paint. He makes it a priority to get two feet in the paint, and from there he has the explosive burst to power his way to the basket and finish. Temi can attack from the wing, run the floor in transition, and take opposing wings to the block where he’s often too strong for them to contain. He also offers Park Center a versatile defensive option and a strong presence on the glass.
