2026 Class 2A Super 6

The 2024-25 High School Basketball Season is near! Over the next few weeks Prep Hoops SC will begin to preview the players and teams that you need to watch for this Winter, including the 2026 Class 2A Super 6. This preview will go in-depth on the 6 highest-ranked Juniors in Class 2A. This list includes prospects of various archetypes who will be eager to break out to College Coaches and begin to look for a home at the next level. Take a look at the prospects in this year's 2026 Class 2A Elite 6:    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    Leading off the list of the top Juniors in Class 2A is [player_tooltip player_id='2457406' first='Eli' last='Brown']. Brown plays for Chesnee High School in 2A Region 1 and averaged 10.4 Points Per Game and 6.4 Rebounds Per Game last year. Eli is one of the biggest stock risers in South Carolina's 2026 Class over the last calendar year. He is one of the best passing big men in the state, has soft hands and touch around the rim, and can stretch the floor with perimeter shooting. Brown is also a capable ball handler who can create opportunities for himself and others off the dribble. His sound fundamentals and high IQ help him limit mistakes on both ends of the floor.     Next up on the 2026 Class 2A Super 6 is [player_tooltip player_id='1487224' first='Zeke' last='Clyburn']. Zeke had a big Sophomore Season where he put up 13.8 Points Per Game and 9.3 Rebounds Per Game helping lead the Volunteers to a 20-win season and Round 3 of the Playoffs. This year, they are in 2A Region 4 and he will be a contender for All-State and Region Player of the Year. Clyburn works well in the paint and is strong through contact. He can set up shop on the wings and work off the drive or work with his back to the basket. Zeke crashes the glass hard on both ends of the floor and is a versatile defender.     [player_tooltip player_id='1645097' first='Jaden' last='Gerald'] is the first of two Marion Swamp Foxes in this group. He was at Gray Collegiate Academy last year and averaged 3.4 Points Per Game in their State Championship Winning campaign. He stays in 2A, now in Region 7, and will be on a team who are one of the favorites in the Class again. Gerald has a big frame and he can work with the ball in his hands or spot up to knock down threes. Jaden has a good handle, is calm under pressure, has persistence in attacking the rim, and will finish through contact. He is an active rebounder on the defensive end too and likes to push the pace in transition.     Next up on the 2026 Class 2A Super 6 is [player_tooltip player_id='2175554' first='Payton' last='Miles'] of American Leadership Academy in 2A Region 2. Miles is an incoming transfer for the Patriots and had some impressive moments with his new team this June. He is a forward who has good size and mobility. Payton is an efficient scorer inside the paint and on the perimeter. He can knock down jump shots from the free throw line or stretch the floor with a confident outside stroke. Miles is effective in pick-and-pop actions and that could be a weapon for his squad this season.     The other Swamp Fox who makes the list is [player_tooltip player_id='2307830' first='Charles' last='White Jr']. White averaged 5.8 Points Per Game and 1.1 Steals Per Game in 2023-24. Charles is a long and lengthy wing who is a confident scorer at all three levels. He has a high release to shoot over defenders, is comfortable pulling up off the dribble in the mid-range, and is athletic in finishing at the rim. White can spot up in the corners or make plays with the ball in his hands. He has shown good qualities in running pick-and-roll sets and sees the floor well to find teammates. Charles also works hard on defense and his length is also a factor on that end of the floor.     Rounding out the 2026 Class 2A Super 6 is [player_tooltip player_id='2299734' first='Braden' last='Hughes']. Braden plays for Mullins High School in 2A Region 7. He is an old-fashioned style of post player who loves to be physical in the paint. At 6'3" with a well-built frame, Hughes is a hard screener, boxes out, and can back opponents under the basket. Braden has good hands, feet, and instincts for finding the ball. He also works hard early for positioning and has a solid set of post moves.
