Card transferred to the new Gillian Academy in Springfield after having a good year at Hayfield, and he'll have the chance to be the building block for the new program moving forward. Card is a talented guard who can fill it up in a lot of different ways whether it's attacking off the pick-and-roll, letting it fly from deep or getting out in transition to get to the rim, and he's also a good playmaker and defender as well.

14) [player_tooltip player_id='1782688' first='Khaliq' last='Carson'] | 6'0” PG | Bishop Ireton (#36 Overall)

Carson took one of the biggest leaps in these rankings, as he grew about 5 inches over the past couple of years and has shown he's one of the best floor generals in the DMV. He's a tone setter on both ends as he can pick up the length of the floor and has quick hands and feet defensively, he is a high level playmaker who can handle pressure and makes his teammates better, and he picks his spots and scores it efficiently when he needs to.

13) [player_tooltip player_id='2252294' first='Jemon' last='Price'] | 6'2” CG | Westfield (#34 Overall)

Price is part of a super talented Westfield group that has one of the best backcourts in all of Northern VA, and he's been on a tear this preseason and is set for a big junior season. He is a tough shot maker who can create space and knock down shots off the bounce from deep and in the midrange, he's dynamic in transition as both as a finisher and a playmaker and he's shown he isn't afraid of big matchups or big moments.

12) [player_tooltip player_id='2301294' first='Akim' last='Iscandari'] | 6'0” PG | Potomac School (#32 Overall)

Iscandari is set to have a huge junior season for a Potomac School program that is on the rise, and he's the straw that stirs the drink for them with his dynamic and productive play on both ends of the floor. He's up there for the fastest guard in the state with the ball in his hands as he has a quick first step and blazing speed to get to the rim, he's a good finisher when he gets to the rim, he can make plays for others and he is a super tough on ball defender too.

11) [player_tooltip player_id='2566558' first='Zyon' last='McGlone'] | 6'1” PG | Peninsula Catholic (#30 Overall)

McGlone also took a big jump in the rankings moving up from the 70s, as he had a huge summer on the 3SSB Circuit as well as a very good preseason and he's one of the most dynamic guards in the 757. At 6'1” he plays like a giant as his explosive leaping ability allows him to block shots and finish among the trees, he is dynamic off the bounce with the ability to get to the rim at will, he can make shots from all three levels and he makes plays defensively too.

10) [player_tooltip player_id='1963397' first='Chris' last='Morrison'] | 6'2” PG | Bishop O'Connell (##25 Overall)

Morrison is one of a number of new faces for this O'Connell team after being one of the best young guards in NOVA public schools at West Potomac, and now he'll get his chance to show what he can do in the WCAC this year. He's a strong guard who plays well through contact when he gets downhill, he can hit shots from deep on and off the ball and he is a very good playmaker who consistently makes the right play look easy.

9) [player_tooltip player_id='1782691' first='Jordan' last='Hunter'] | 6'1” PG | Paul VI (#24 Overall)

Hunter is coming off a big summer with Team Takeover, and while it will be a crowded backcourt for a new look PVI group he'll find his way on the court with his ability to make plays on both ends of the floor. He is great in the pick-and-roll as he can turn the corner or drag it out and make good reads, he makes tough shots from all three levels, he jumps passing lanes well and he brings great energy on both ends of the floor.

8) [player_tooltip player_id='1782690' first='Silas' last='Devonish'] | 5'9” PG | Bishop Ireton (#21 Overall)

Devonish has been a staple at an up and coming Ireton team as one of the best young guards in the WCAC over the past few years, and this team has developed nicely behind him and should make for a tough matchup in the best conference in the country. While he's not the biggest guy Devonish is lightning quick in transition and coming off ball screens and dribble-hand-offs, he can light it up from well beyond the line, he's a good playmaker and he's an extremely scrappy defender who takes pride on that end of the floor.

7) [player_tooltip player_id='1446198' first='Carmelo' last='Swinson'] | 6'2” CG | Massanutten (#18 Overall)

Swinson transferred to Massanutten after being one of the top scorers in the 757 at Norcom the last few years, and so far in the preseason he's shown his deep bag and has a unique chance to play up against post grad competition. He's a natural scorer who has really improved on his catch-and-shoot ability, he can create space off the bounce and make tough shots from all three levels, he's a microwave scorer who can get hot quickly and fill it up in bunches and he plays with a competitive chip on his shoulder too.

6) [player_tooltip player_id='1963392' first='Keon' last='Mitchell'] | 6'1” PG | Norview (#14 Overall)

Mitchell has been the guy for Norview since he stepped foot on their floor as a freshman, and on an experienced group poised to make a big run this season he'll be looked at to lead them on both ends. He isn't built like most high school guards, as he's very strong both in his upper and lower body, allowing him to be physical on both ends of the floor. He's a great slasher who can use his strength to hold off shot blockers and finish, he can make shots from all over the court and he makes his teammates better as well.
