Codie looks primed for a big junior year, and could help Brown Deer improve upon their 6-19 record from last season. From a physical standpoint Codie fits the part, as he stands around 6'2-6'3 with some length and athleticism out on the wing. Against Milwaukee Juneau he caught fire from three early on, and was pulling up for shots off the catch and dribble. Codie just couldn't seem to miss as he drained three after three to keep his team in the game. Really like the intensity that he brings to the floor on both ends as well.

Anthony simply couldn't be stopped in his team's win over Milwaukee Hamilton. He started off the game with a quick 11 points, draining three triples and slashing to the basket for a strong finish at the rim. Rise plays with good pace, which makes him very unpredictable as you never know when he's looking to pull-up for a three or attack the basket. Showed impressive court vision as well, zipping in some nice assists to his cutting teammates around the basket. A lot of Brookfield Central's success this season could ride on the play of [player_tooltip player_id='1272671' first='Anthony' last='Rise'].

Sussex Hamilton graduated some key players from last season's 20-6 team, but the cupboard isn't bare as [player_tooltip player_id='1551682' first='Asher' last='Haas'] is back for his senior season, and is ready to take on an even bigger role. He helped lead his team to a win over Whitnall, controlling the pace of the game, taking what the defense gave him, and connecting on a high percentage of his shots. He made smart decisions with the ball, had some nice passes ahead in transition to lead to easy buckets, and was hitting consistently from three and mid-range.

[player_tooltip player_id='1282617' first='Xzavion' last='Mitchell'] is as consistent as they come. I can't remember ever seeing him have an off day, and a big part of that is how simple he keeps the game. He just finds ways to get the ball around the rim, and from there plays off two feet, utilizing shot fakes to get guys in the air, or his strength to just power his way up for two points. Such an efficient finisher insider. Defensively he uses his length so well at the top of the Oshkosh North zone, getting a hand on passes or trapping opposing guards and forcing mistakes. Always seems to pick up a few steals leading to easy buckets on the other end. Helped lead his team to a win over Slinger in the game I watched.

Caden has been putting himself in the conversation among the top shooters in the state's 2026 class this fall. In the few games I've seen him, he seems to hit 5+ threes every game, and is doing so at a high percentage. Against Homestead it got to the point where he was so hot that he pulled up for a transition three and drained it. Caden has the ability to play either guard spot and excel as a scorer or facilitator, and he'll look to help Waterford compete for a SLC title this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1504816' first='Jamison' last='Beesley'] combines with Gustafson to form a dangerous backcourt duo for Waterford. One of the more versatile players in his class, Jamison can run the point, can act as a wing-scorer, and even has the size to play a bit of small-ball forward when needed. When defended with size, Jamison was able to utilize his handle to beat his defender off the dribble. When Homestead tried to defend him with a quicker guard, Jamison was simply able to bully his defender and get to the rim to score. Plays with a bit of flair that not only makes him fun to watch, but also helps him produce consistently as a scorer, facilitator, and rebounder.

Yusef Gray Jr is another player who keeps the game simple, and because of that is able to produce with a high level of efficiency. He excels at getting out into the open floor for easy finishes, can get to the rim off a limited amount of dribbles, and also cuts hard off the ball to create some easy looks. Once he gets going he'll start to expand his game a bit more, as he knocked down a pair of mid-range pull-ups in the win over Slinger. Overall, Yusef does a great job of getting his entire team involved, taking what the defense gives him, and then goes back down the other end where he's able to defend almost every spot on the floor at 6'4.
