Jalyn showcased his shifty handle and shot creating ability in a win for the Grey team. Defenders all game long had a hard time keeping in front of him, as he was a threat to create separation for an outside jumper, or to get into the lane and create for his teammates. Had some impressive passes to set up his bigs with good looks around the rim, and hit a good percentage of his jumpers. Skilled and poised point guard prospect.

After a slow start in the first half, Marley came alive in the championship game to help lead his team to an overtime win. Shoots the ball so well for a player his size, with the capability to hit off the catch or dribble. Brings a ton of energy and toughness to the floor, and over the past six months he's seemed to thrive in big games. Hit a number of clutch shots as he helped his team complete an undefeated season. Not many players in the state have produced at as high of a level as Marley has in 2024.

In a league where you typically see a lot of high scoring games, I was impressed with the effort Chaz was playing with on defense. He's so quick moving his feet laterally, and picked up a 5-second call while defending one of the top guards in the state. The elevation he gets on his jump shot allows him to get off shots against longer guards, and he has the quickness to get to his spots off the dribble. Looks to be another DeLaSalle player that can cause havoc for opposing guards with his ball pressure.

JJ is another player who just seems to produce in any setting. I really liked how he competed as he was spending time defending a pair of D1 committed forwards, and was using his length to make things difficult for them around the game. In a game that got pretty chippy, JJ was simply making plays and hustling to the other end of the floor. Offensively he's not the most explosive athlete, but his change of speed and ability to use his body to create space allows him to get to his spots and hit shots from just about anywhere on the floor. So good at drawing contact to get easy points at the FT line.

Jace may not have been a go-to player offensively for the Orange Team, but he found ways to make winning plays. He's an athletic 6'3 slasher who was flying in for rebounds and chasing down loose balls. Above the rim finisher who can get out in transition or cut from the wing to get looks at the rim. Jace showed the willingness to defend a number of spots, and sacrifice scoring numbers for team success.

Carson continues to show some nice potential moving forward, as he moves well at 6'4 and has a promising skillset out on the wing. I liked the way he was moving his feet with smaller players on the perimeter, while using his length to contest shots and rebound in the paint. Threat to get out and finish in transition, while also being able to knock down open threes off the catch. Saw time in a pair of varsity games last season, but could see a bigger role this year as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='1550877' first='Jayden' last='Moore'] was making plays that show up on the stat sheet, but was also doing the little things to help force overtime against a loaded Team Orange. He was boxing out 6'7+ forwards to pull in rebounds in traffic, was launching the ball ahead for easy assists, and was making the extra pass in half-court settings to set up his shooters. When scoring on his own Jayden hit a handful of deep threes, and was also fearless attacking the basket against size. His team came up just short, but I really liked the way that Jayden was competing in his 4th fall league game of the day.
