Most multi-sport athletes in Ohio come from small town programs that need their top athletes to play more than one sport. That couldn't be more of the opposite than the situation at Archbishop Moeller in Cincinnati. The Crusaders are a powerhouse on both the gridiron and hardwood, where the Crusaders are state title contenders in Division I of both sports. Mason is near the top of the GCL-South stats in both sports, making a key impact for both teams. Mason is top 10 in receiving yards and finished second in assists in the conference last season.

Toledo Christian only has eight-man football and Koester is the leading pass catcher for his team. In week one, Koester had three receiving touchdowns and made 15 tackles as well. Toledo Christian has been a small school powerhouse on the hardwood and is starting to become one of the top eight-man football programs as well thanks to players like Koester.

Landers is one of the top passers in southwest Ohio, throwing for over 1,100 passing yards and accounting for 19 total touchdowns as a Junior. He's still playing at a high level this fall for a Middletown program that sits at .500 in the competitive GMC. Landers has helped form one of the most exciting passing attacks thanks to his connection with another Middletown hooper.

Another key member of Middletown's district final squad from last season, Shields is one of the top wide receivers in the GMC. Shields is second on his team with almost 400 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Numerous high academic football programs have offered Shields including Colgate and Dartmouth, his two latest.

A small-town stud, Creager has been a key piece for Patrick Henry on the gridiron and hardwood for the past few years. Creager's fall has been busy with numerous visits to Big 10 football programs. Creager was also named All Ohio in both football and basketball as a Junior. One of the top athletes in northwest Ohio, Creager is a name fans outside of the region should know about.
