AJ looks like he could be an instant impact freshman for Edgewood. The 6'3 wing already offers some size for his team, with the agility at that size to defend a number of spots on the floor. His team got off to a sloppy start against Waukesha West, but I was impressed with his ball security and decision making. What stood out most though was his outside shot. AJ was a zone buster in this game, draining 8 threes over the course of the game, and helping his team come from behind to pick up a comeback win.

Messmer has a promising group of young prospects, and Delvito put in a strong performance to help lead them to a win over Brookfield Central on Sunday. The 5'10 guard is tough as nails defensively, pressuring the ball hard and picking his moments to trap the ball and force turnovers. Offensively he showed he can hit the outside shot, and is fearless getting to the rim and finishing inside. Wasn't afraid to take big shots down the stretch in a close game.

Tyler had a productive sophomore season last year for Waukesha West, and it's easy to see why. The 6'4 guard is such a crafty finisher around the rim, and is able to get looks off the drive, in transition, and with hard cuts off the ball. Does a great job of mixing in reverse lay-ups and off-foot finishes to catch defenders off guard, and it allows him to score against taller/more athletic defenders. For someone who will likely take the most shots on his team in a majority of games, he does a great job of picking his moments, and it allows him to score with efficiency.

Breon is a super versatile player for Messmer who excels on the defensive end. He plays much bigger than his size due to a long and athletic frame, and was all over the floor making plays in a win over Brookfield Central. Bennett was using his length to tip passes and trap the ball in dangerous areas, while also coming up with rebounds in bunches. Works hard and puts himself in the right spots on the floor to make plays. Also a strong finisher inside on the offensive end.

Kevin's performance against Tosa East on Sunday was the best I've seen him play. The 6'10 big man was dominant in the paint, using his combination of size, strength, and touch to finish at will. He has long arms and big hands that allow him to palm the ball and dunk over defenders with ease, but he also showed some surprising agility and coordination slashing in for alley-oop dunks. Pittman was running the floor hard for transition buckets, and established winning post position to make it easy for his guards to get him the ball in the half-court. If he can carry these types of performances into the season, WAC will be tough to beat.

Not many players raised their stock over the spring/summer like TJ did. Playing on a 4-18 Tosa East team last season, he was flying under-the-radar. Having had the chance to watch him multiple times since then, I'm very intrigued with him as a prospect. He fits the mold physically as a long 6'4 guard who can jump out of the gym for explosive finishes. Continues to become a consistent shooter as well, both off the catch and dribble. Scored in a variety of ways against a loaded West Allis Central team.

Henry is primed for a big junior season at Brookfield Central. The 6'8 big has some of the best footwork in the state, but is also so smart with how he moves off the ball. He used some hard cuts to open up a pair of dunks in the half-court, and is very unpredictable when he pops out to set a screen on the perimeter. If he catches on the block you're almost forced to double-team him, as his footwork and finishing touch allows him to go to work when left on an island.
