Not many players raised their stock over the spring/summer like TJ did. Playing on a 4-18 Tosa East team last season, he was flying under-the-radar. Having had the chance to watch him multiple times since then, I’m very intrigued with him as a prospect. He fits the mold physically as a long 6’4 guard who can jump out of the gym for explosive finishes. Continues to become a consistent shooter as well, both off the catch and dribble. Scored in a variety of ways against a loaded West Allis Central team.

Ricketts is a player who will continue to be in the conversation as he’s one of the top-performing returners in the conference. The 6 ‘4 wing averaged 11.1 points per game last season. The dynamic wing will take on more responsibility next season. Ricketts was named Honorable Mention in the Great Metro Conference during his junior season and is projected to move up the line to an All-Conference Team selection.

. He’s an explosive wing-guard who can put points on the board in a hurry. Changes directions really well at 6’4, with the athleticism to hang in the air for acrobatic finishes inside. Knocked down his first two 3’s in the game I watched on Sunday, hitting a third in the 2nd half as well. Tons of potential as a defender due to his ability to defend the 1-3 at the high school level. Also added in 14 points in a win over
Pride Roc
and 22 in a win over
Wisconsin Blizzard
.

TJ was one of the players I was looking forward to watching over the weekend, and he impressed against ABC Young Lions . He started off the game 4-4 from the field, including a pair of threes showing his comfort to hit shots from college distance. TJ is an explosive athlete with a long frame on the wing, and was capable of guarding a variety of spots on the floor. Had one of the highlights of the weekend as he met an opposing wing at the rim with a huge block. Seems to be a bit of a late blooming prospect with a high ceiling moving forward.
