Washpun is one of the best guards in the class, a lightning-quick attacker who loves to get into the teeth of the defense and finish at the rim. He plays with pace, is a really good ball-handler who thrives in ball screens, and he has a great mid-range game and is working to become more consistent from the 3-point line. He sees the floor really well and is a creative, willing passer. He averaged 7.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists on a senior-heavy Liberty team last year, and will be handed the keys to the car as a sophomore.

Prairie has a really good 2027 class, headlined by the next two players on this list. Joens is a sharpshooting off-ball guard with a quick release off the catch and great off-ball movement. He has really improved as a ball-handler and playmaker and could see more time with the ball in his hands as a sophomore. He averaged 6.9 points and 1.8 assists a game on 35.3% 3-point shooting.

Alexander may be the highest upside player in the Hawks' 2027 class, an athletic and long wing who can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. He has great size and length, moves his feet well on the defensive end, providing some versatility. On the offensive end, he can play with or without the ball in his hands. He figures to be a key piece of Prairie's rotation this season.

Wallace was really impressive as a freshman for the Regals, averaging 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.0 steals per game on nearly 54% shooting. He's an athletic forward who does a great job establishing early post position and burying his man. He has soft touch around the bucket with either hand, good footwork, and he's a good enough athlete to defend on the perimeter.

There are some talented guards in Linn-Mar's 2027 class, with Brunscheen leading the way. He's a small guard, but he's really quick, has great vision and handles, and is a creative finisher around the rim. He's a good defender with great hands and quick feet.
