A Power 4 football recruit, Tate Wallace Tate Wallace 6'3" | PF Regina | 2027 State IA looks like he belongs on the gridiron. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t belong on the basketball court, though. Regina’s leading scorer during the regular season while shooting 66.2% from the field, it’s abundantly clear that Wallace is the biggest physical presence on almost, if not every court he steps on for the Regals. A intimidating, overwhelming presence on the court, Wallace used his football frame and athleticism to overbear anyone that matched up with him from Aplington-Parkersburg in the quarterfinals. He finished with 18 points.

Regina got handled pretty thoroughly by Solon on Saturday afternoon, but Wallace was a standout for the Regals, scoring 18 points on 6-12 shooting (6-8 FT) with 7 rebounds. An active forward with soft hands, explosive athleticism, and the strength to power through contact at the rim, he was a force on the glass on both ends of the floor and led the Regals in scoring. His future is on the gridiron, but he’s a highly impactful player on the hardwood as well with his size, strength, and athleticism.
