Perri, who's already made an impact at the varsity level for Roxbury Latin, is one of this class's top lead guards. He's a solid athlete that is a dynamic ball handler and quality decision maker in the half court. He's starting to fill out his frame a little and continues to grow stronger. He makes good reads in ball screens, is a tough finisher around the rim, and can consistently knock down shots from behind the arc. He does a good job of pushing the pace in transition, proving capable of scoring or setting up teammates for easy baskets. Defensively, Perri is a quality on-ball defender that plays with a competitive streak and some grittiness. He's first to loose balls and creates plenty of deflections and steals of his own. He should be a primary contributor for Roxbury Latin this winter and is a prospect to track over the coming years.

Cantave, another talented lead guard, enters his first year in the NEPSAC looking to make an impact on a talented St. George's squad. A shifty ball-handler, Cantave is capable of scoring in the paint in a variety of ways. He's a plus athlete that has good positional size and great length and has just started to capitalize on some of his physical gifts. He's crafty, can finish through contact at the rim, and does a nice job of scoring in the mid-range. His burst with the ball in his hands and ability to get past the initial defender off the bounce allows him to be a creator in the half court. Defensively, he can guard any spot on the perimeter with his combination of great length and above average lateral mobility. He should continue to get better day in and day out and has a chance to be a high level recruit down the road.

Kennedy, who heads into his first year at MacDuffie, is already a quality combo guard that plays with great confidence and an advanced feel for the game. A multi-level scorer, Kennedy does a good job of getting to his scoring spots off the bounce, with nice burst and the ability to quickly change direction. He's a capable perimeter shooter that utilizes his size and length to get his jumper off whenever he wants. He's quickly proving to be a quality decision maker with the ball in his hands and provides real secondary ball-handler potential. Defensively, he has a chance to be special. He's long, quick laterally, and has great instincts. With his physical traits, he could develop into a defensive stopper. Like all young prospects, it'll be interesting to see if he fills out his frame and gets stronger, but as of right now, he's a definite prospect to monitor in this class.

Maturah, a first year guard that will play his prep ball at Brooks School, showed some real long term potential this summer. An instinctive combo guard, Maturah is talented with the ball in his hands, proving capable of scorer or distributing. He does a good job of scoring at all three levels; finishing in the paint with a variety of floaters, knocking down mid-range jumpers off the bounce, and hitting threes off the catch. He already has a good understanding of how to attack the defense and is capable of creating his own off the bounce. Defensively, he's instinctive off the ball, often jumping passing lanes for easy steals that lead to run-out buckets. He moves well laterally and has the ability to keep the ball in front of him. He's talented and works hard at his game, two traits that should lead to success as he makes his way through high school.

Cosman, who enters his first year in the high school ranks at Hingham in the MIAA, has already developed a reputation as a perimeter scorer. A good shooter from behind the arc, Cosman does a good job of keeping spaced, provides an early target with his hands, and makes sure to square up to the rim on his jumper. He gets his shot off quickly amd does a nice job of exploding into his jumper. He plays hard, competes on both ends of the floor, and shows some nice athleticism. He's capable of putting the ball on the floor and scoring at the rim and does a nice job of moving without the ball. Defensively, he has quick hands and shows good anticipation for the next play. He has a chance to carve out an early role at Hingham and is a definite prospect to track over the coming years in the MIAA.
