Nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops. That is never more true than doing our annual series of fall showcase events. On Sunday, we hosted our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase which is the single best event we put on each year. Over 150 of the states best freshmen descended upon Fishers High School to play in front of our scouting staff as well as many area high school and grassroots coaches. We will spend the next week or so pumping out evaluations of every single player that was in attendance. However, to begin, let's simply highlight some of the top performers from the day.

One of the early standouts on the day was this versatile 6'3" guard from Hamilton Southeastern High School. Clark was scoring it from all over the floor while displaying a tight handle and good shot-creation ability. Whether he was creating for himself or others, Clark consistently made positive things happen when the ball was in his hands. He will definitely be a name to remember through the coming years at HSE.

We were well aware of this star freshman coming into the event, but Coolman once again proved to be among the best while competing against his peers at Fishers High School on Sunday. The 6'4" guard is so incredibly smooth with the ball in his hands. He can score it from all three levels, make plays for his teammates, and defend multiple positions on the perimeter. Coolman will be among the highest ranked prospects in the class whenever we put out Class of 2028 rankings.

We first got eyes on this Fort Wayne Wayne product at the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals as he helped lead Team Robinson 2027 to the championship game of the 15u division while playing up a year. The 6'3" left-handed guard is one of the best catch-and-shoot prospects in the class. He had his jump shot working on Sunday at the Freshman Showcase making numerous three-point shots from varying depths. One of the most talented young prospects in Fort Wayne.

Expectations are high for this physically imposing freshmen. Not many prospects his age are built like Harris. The 6'5" wing/forward has impressive strength while maintaining some real vertical explosiveness. He plays above the rim in transition and when driving against closeouts, rebounds at a high-level, and has the versatility to fill several different spots on either end of the floor. Look for Harris to make an instant impact at the varsity level for one of the top Class 1A teams in the state this season.

LaCross started the 5-on-5 portion of our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase absolutely on fire from beyond the arc. As the defense got tighter and tighter he seemly went deeper and deeper. The 6'3" guard from Blackhawk Christian used his impressive range to stretch the defense and then was able to slash his way into the paint and use his size to finish at the basket. Really talented wing scorer who should factor into the varsity equation right away for perennial powerhouse Blackhawk Christian.

We will have to update Lampley's height because he has gotten noticeably bigger and stronger just since this summer. Now standing at about 6'5", this Lawrence Central freshman put on an incredibly impressive performance. He was flying above the rim for big time dunks, slicing his way through the defense off of the dribble, and creating havoc with his athleticism on the defensive end. There is a lot of upside to his game as he appears to just be starting to scratch the surface of what he will become.
