Last week, we unveiled our updated rankings for the Class of 2027, and today, we're ready to unveil the Prep Hoops New England 2028 Prospect Watch List!

Some of these prospects burst onto the scene this summer, while others are just starting to make a name for themselves this fall at open gyms or prospect camps.

A few familiar names on the Watch List include [player_tooltip player_id='2297675' first='Amyas' last='Hall-Chiari'] of Putnam Science Academy, [player_tooltip player_id='2569693' first='BJ' last='Dawan-Abdullah'] at Brimmer & May, [player_tooltip player_id='2569687' first='Drew' last='Carlson'] from the Rivers School, [player_tooltip player_id='2571884' first='KJ' last='Hurd'] from Noble & Greenough, [player_tooltip player_id='2569694' first='Kyle' last='Delves'] at Mount Saint Charles and [player_tooltip player_id='2436977' first='Willie' last='Darden Jr.'] from Wilbur Cross.

In all, 74 prospects have been placed on the Watch List. They come from high schools and prep schools in all six New England states and range from point guards all the way to centers.

Positionally, this list includes 15 point guards, 15 combo guards, 12 shooting guards, 10 small forwards, 17 power forwards, and 5 centers.

This is the first time we have highlighted the Class of 2028 in a rankings release and as such, we have decided to focus on listing, rather than ranking, these prospects. As these prospects continued to develop their games and we have more opportunities to view them in person, the Watch List will transition to a true Rankings board like you see with the classes of 2025, 2026 and 2027.

The rankings in New England always carry a good amount of fluctuation due to the high number of prep schools in the region, as a number of prospects transfer into New England or choose to reclassify each spring. While we have undoubtedly missed some of these changes, we hope to continue to make updates regarding player movement as we get closer to the start of the school season.

Keep an eye on the site throughout the week as we highlight prospects to know in the backcourt, on the wing, and in the post!
