Linfield held their Elite Camp this past Sunday and second-year head coach Levi Sieg, his staff, and current players all got a good look at the talent on hand - which consisted of some of the top players in Oregon. We had the opportunity to watch all of the action and after conferring with a number of observers, here are some of the top in-state performers on the day.

Jaxon Spafford (2025 Putnam) - Putting together one of the top effort on the day was Spafford. We all know how well the senior point guard shoots the ball and his jumper was sharp, but what impressed us was his floor leadership. It seemed he was more fixated on looking for open teammates first and getting them the ball with some passes before taking shots himself, an indication of understanding the talent around him and his feel for the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1368248' first='Khaled' last='Artharee'] (2025 Gresham) - Another guy that really impressed us was Artharee, who was one of the top athletes in the building. The senior combo guard was a force on the glass, really pushed the ball up the floor, and finished plays above the rim. His perimeter shooting was pretty solid both off the catch-and-shoot and off the dribble, and he did a nice job of balancing his offense with getting the rock to the open man.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205000' first='Lucas' last='Zook'] (2025 Western Christian) - One of the surprise standouts at camp on Sunday was Zook - and a lot of it had to do with how hard he played. The senior Western Christian guard was constantly on the floor, whether it was trying to finish off a hard drive to the hoop through contact, going after it on defense, or diving for a loose ball. In addition, he shot the ball well and made good decisions in both the halfcourt and transition situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='1621303' first='Brady' last='Muilenburg'] (2025 Ridgeview) - While he didn't necessarily shoot the ball as well as we've seen from him in the past, Muilenburg not only made long-range jumpers but also showed versatility in taking and making mid-range jumpers as well as taking the ball downhill to the rim. The Ridgeview senior did a good job using his length on the boards and was effective on defense as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1368229' first='Peyton' last='Reyes'] (2025 Mountainside) - Visibly tired at the end after being at Western Oregon the previous day and even hobbling a little due to a minor cross-country injury and some food poisoning, Reyes still impressed at Linfield. While his shot wasn't necessarily falling, he was making plays for others on the offensive end and as always, had the non-stop motor and intensity on the defensive end.

Brady Hix (2025 Sherwood) - Going into the camp, our main impression of Hix was as a perimeter shooter and he certainly did his share of that at camp. The Sherwood senior was very good moving without the ball to get to his spots for opportunities, but didn't just launch the ball every time but also made quick passes to open teammates for scores. In addition, Hix showed good overall toughness as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450155' first='Aidan' last='Kelly'] (2025 La Salle) - Kelly was absolutely unconscious with his shooting the previous day at Western Oregon, so while he didn't quite repeat the magic at Linfield his shot was still solid as he took jumpers with confidence. What the senior forward may have caught the eye of the coaches the most was his hustle and great work on the boards on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205001' first='Luke' last='Jarussi'] (2025 Valley Catholic) - One of the top big men at the camp, Jarussi played well. The 6-foot-6 post was aggressive in the post, whether it was setting up on the block or attacking the hoop off the dribble. If the lefty wasn't finishing the first attempt, he was often the first one to the ball on the offensive board for another opportunity. The Valley Catholic senior may have been the overall top rebounder at the camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='2211742' first='Riggy' last='Khyungra'] (2027 La Salle) - If there was one of the participants who was at both Western Oregon and Linfield that seemingly didn't have any dropoff, it was Khyungra. The La Salle sophomore point guard was once again impossible to contain in any one-on-one isolation situation and his quick forays to the hoop and creative finishes around the hoop were extremely effective. Especially with the flair and panache he plays with, Khyungra is undoubtedly one of the most fun players to watch at the 5A level.
