Has played well all summer long and it extended into the Expo. Showed that he could score both inside and out, played with focus and intensity, and was a force on the boards on both ends of the floor. Displayed some nice passing skills finding open guys for scores too. A Second Team All-Showcase selection.

Prep Hoops Lead Scout

He showed a great blend of inside-out skills, rebounding well on both ends and stepping out to drain some shots from 3-point range. Wasn’t super quick or fast but played poised with the ball and showed the awareness necessary to play with finesse from different spots. Speaking of his awareness, he also saw the court well as a passer finding cutters from the weak side.

If there was a guy who had things really cooking at camp, it was Kelly. The La Salle senior was canning shots left and right all day long, draining open jumpers whether they were off the catch-and-shoot or if he was pulling up on the break. It’s been clear he has been working on his shot all spring and summer and it showed big-time at WOU. Additionally, the 6-foot-5 swingman was tough on the glass and showed a good motor defensively. If there was an MVP named for the camp, Kelly would have been our choice.
