In his game against GRIT on Saturday, he scored 18 points, showing his ability to balance scoring and facilitating. Despite his size, he jumps well, competes defensively, and brings constant effort on that end. His speed, skill, and feel for the game make him one of the top point guards in the state.

When people played off of him, he simply pulled up and drained long jumpers to keep the defense honest. The biggest move into the top five is from Khyungra, a result of what’s been a spectacular season so far from the shifty point guard. The sophomore has emerged as one of 5A’s top scorers as he’s been practically impossible to contain off the dribble going to the basket and using his diverse layup package to finish. He’s also been able to get hot from the perimeter at times, making him unstoppable at times. His quickness has also been evident on the defensive end as his motor and quick hands constantly create turnovers.
