Johnson is as athletic as it gets. The Bishop Gorman guard can make highlight plays on both sides of the court. He may be asked to guard some of the better guards of the opposing team this year because of his impressive speed and lateral quickness. However I believe he is ready for the task, and I expect him to compete hard all season long for the Gaels. There is a good chance he'll have a lot to do with the wins they pick up.

Cordet is a player that I have watched for a few years now. Each year he has gotten better and I expect no different this year. He saw playing time for Foothill last year as a freshman, and he's shown that he score and rebound at the varsity level. Now that he's gotten some experience under his belt, he should be ready to take his offensive game up a notch. Shooting is a strength of his and Foothill may need it.

Broxie is 6'5 and is force to be reckoned with on the boards. Unfortunately he missed some time due to injury in the last year. But he should be 100% to start this season and Arbor View will likely need him to defend the paint now that Pharaoh Compton is at San Diego St. . While Broxie can throw down dunks, his most valuable service for the Aggies on offense will be grabbing offensive rebounds and extending possessions.

Faith Lutheran lost some of there scoring when Graydon Lemke graduated, and Junior Caro may be one of the guys asked to contribute more. He is an underrated ball handler and knows how to set up his shots. In addition to his shot making ability, Caro can get downhill fast with the ball and can finish tough lay ups. The Crusaders will need him to do more than just score though to help them win games. Which will mean that he needs to bring it on the defensive end as well.

Candolesas is one of the many talented shooters on the Desert Pines team this year. He can hit the 3 ball very consistently and he does a great job of working off ball to get open. I would also say he is one of the quicker guards out there, which helps him make plays on defense. There should be a decent amount of minutes headed his way this season and he seems poised to capitalize.
