2024 Washington Top 250 Expo: Team 2 Evaluation

With some of the top talent coming to Bellevue this past weekend, we got to see a ton of new faces shine and already top ranked players do their thing. Here is breakdowns on players team 2 from the showcase.    Eyoel played with great patience all day when the ball was in hid hands. He controlled his dribble all day and attacked hard with both hands, showing good speed with the ball. He can finish smoothly with his left hand, absorbing contact well.     Daniel is a quick guard who can play from the wing position too. Ngezaho has quick instincts and fast hands on the defensive side of the ball, not being afraid to guard 94 feet if needed. He moved well off-ball, being able to fill the weak spots in the defense then knocking down open shots.     Makhai is a fantastic rebounder for his size/position, always crashing the boards hard and hunting for loose balls. Tolliver is quick with the ball in his hands, attacking with both hands. He is a big time athlete who jumps high and is able to rise above defenders to get his shot off.     Grant played with confidence all day on the court, not being afraid to go at anyone and guard the best player on the opposite team. Lanier moves off ball well, getting to his spots easily and being able to knock down catch and shoot shots with ease. He can create for himself too, getting his buckets when he wants.     Jacob attacked strong with both hands, protecting the ball well when defenders down low are swiping at it. He flies around on defense, playing with energy and it rubs off on his teammates. He crashed boards hard every possession, being one of the better rebounding guards during the day.     Landen has great size and length and is able to use it to his advantage easily. His footwork down low is excellent and he has a soft touch around the rim. Birley creates for himself smoothly, getting to his mid-range shot and knocking it down often. He can defend multiple positions, having the strength to guard post players and agility to defend guards.     MacCoy was excellent all day long, doing great things during 3on3 play when he had room to get to his spots. He sets solid screens and can roll or pop out to hit the deep shot. He crashed the boards hard every play, often coming down with the rebound. He is going to have a great season next year for Issaquah.     Seamus came down from Alaska, which was awesome to see. He has a big frame and does a fantastic job at sealing defenders and boxing out opposing players down in the paint. He uses his strength well down low too, being able to position himself nicely.
