He’s a versatile defender, can penetrate with good strength and quickness, and is an impressive rebounder on both ends. He’s shown he can hit the outside shot too and as he continues to improve with the jump shot, he’ll keep rising the ranks.

Hurskin is another more under wraps talent that thrives off of hustle and activity. His tireless work rate shows up big on the glass, cleaning up misses on the offensive end, and ending defensive possessions with the ability to start the break going the other way. He is a super springy player with good strength getting to the hoop and has shown some flashes pulling up from the mid-range once defenders start cheating the drive.

Hurskin provided a unique skillset this weekend as a supremely athletic 6-foot-2 guard whose aggression in the paint and on the glass made a huge impact for his BDH team. He’s a hungry defender with burst and quickness. He puts a lock on the ball when it’s in his hands. And he made a concerted effort to outwork opponents for loose balls. He took the ball up strong on put backs and in transition, drawing a good number of fouls and converting at a high rate from the line.
